Anthony Randolph

This guy will be a star. LSU is horrible but he is legit. He's skinny right now but he is just versatile. I like the Chris Bosh comparison. He can take you outside, slash, and has a nice post game. Once he hits the gym, he'll be a beast in the league. He should be a top 10 pick. 6-11, can run like none other, is freakishly athletic, can pass, score in many ways, defend, and is only a freshman. If he has the work ethic, he'll be an all star.

Yeah props to draftexpress for writing him up. I decided to watch LSU some yesterday b/c of it and was quite surprised by the raw talent the guy has. That being said he looks to be the bad kind of skinny-not entirely confident he will have a good frame.

I'd been lamenting the lack of high upside guys in this years prospects, but he definitely ranks as one of those guys who if ever figured it out could be really good. Then again I thought Tyrus Thomas would figure it out and so far it looks a little pessimistic on this front. Also its hard not to look at what has been a trend of high potential poor work ethic prospects coming out of LSU--at some point you wonder if underlying factors are at work.

Randolph would be much better suited to stay a year, be a "seasoned" veteran next year and probably a top ten pick.

he is a 6-10 SF/PF in the mold of Lamar Odom. he is quick and athletic, is capable of posting up or shooting. similar to chris bosh.

he must add bulk and strength...he weighs at least 200 pounds...he is very raw, but he has potential.

Let me start by saying that I have never seen this kid play

But from what I have read and the fact that he doesn't turn 19 until July.......could this guy go #2 ????

If all I could go off was my ears from people I trust/respect then I would think it is possible

yes?

If he continues to improve he could go #2 in 2009.

Ha!! I looked on nbadraft.net and draftexpress and that is pretty much word for word what they said!! If I wanted to know that, I could have read it myself!!

Have anyone actually seen him play?

I bet he comes out, and is probably the #2 PF in the draft right now (Beasley obviously #1 and Lopez is a C prospect).

Is he as raw as a Brandon Wright or could he play in the NBA year #1 and have an impact?
