game notes
- was the officiating awful down low, or was okafor awful? okafor had his shot blocked 4 times.
- the random benching of dudley continues. no minutes in the first half. he only got in the game after wallace was hurt.
- parking was free in my fav lot. the attendant wasnt there. nice.
- the game was faith and family night with a band christian rock band called kutless playing at halftime and after the game. of course i get seated next to the only couple in the arena who traveled specifically to see the band. and of course, me being me (not knowing this), i proceed to rag the band at halftime because the one guitarist had his hair all down in his face like the flock of seagulls after a shower. smooth move on my part. of course the gracious couple explained they had two of their cds and the band was actually really really good. OK.
- how many times did we leave garcia WIDE OPEN in that game?
- so my wife gets a call right before the start of the 3rd quarter and disappears outside to take the call. a minute later wallace goes down for 15 minutes. my wife comes back a minute after wallace left the arena in the stretcher, like [in a happy voice] "what did i miss?". Ummmmmmm, just the worst 15 minutes in bobcats history, that's all.
- how many games like this can we lose this year at home? this is the 4th crushing defeat i've seen live this year (rockets, celtics, pistons the others). i'm cursed. the team is cursed.
- gotta love the play sam vincent drew up at the end of the first half. he called a timeout with 25 seconds left, only to isolate wallace at the top of the key for a drive into 4 defenders. result: what do you think? CHARGE! get a clue sam.
- boykins provided a serious spark in the 4th quarter with carroll and dudley. the bobcats rallied and took the lead. sam counters the rally by putting mcinnis, anderson and okafor back in the game. bye bye lead.
- actually i cant rag anderson. he played stellar defense all night long.

3 - richardson - now that is how you make clutch shots.
2 - anderson - great defense
1 - felton - overall did a great job of penetrating and creating havoc, but had a tough time finishing at the rim. and missed a huge FT.

3 - jrich, although he made some bone-headed plays
2 - felton, had game-tying layup, and gave-saving (almost) steal, missed a lot of layups, but was also hacked a lot. I loved the uncalled Artest smack to his face after a drive. Missed big free throw. Felton giveth, and taketh away.
1 - DA. Smart player, provided energy and defense, rallied the troops after GWall went down. Seemed to be the only player who wanted to "get back" at Sacramento after they took out GWall.

Had to work late, so only listened to the game on the radio...
3- Ray - Sounds like he had a poor shooting night but did alot of other things... I would love to see more stat lines like he had...just a better fg%.
2- JRich - Sounds like he made his shots when needed.
1- DA - Played a good game...did they really run an iso for him after a timeout....?
