The Nuggets are in a tough stretch now. They have 2 easier teams coming up now but after that it gets hard. @ Seattle, vs. Clippers, @ Houston, vs. Phoenix, vs. San Antonio, @ Utah, @ San Antonio.

It will be a tough stretch to win those games.

Is Houston GM Morey a genius or what? Since the trade, NO has dropped 3 straight.

Fantastic back to back set of wins for Detroit right there

Shut down two of the higher scoring and most up-tempo teams in the league. Denver might of been able to win, and they played well enough to have it close, but Detroit was just better on both ends of the court.

Unless Denver goes on a significant stretch and "gets their act together in the 2nd half" like Carmelo said at ASW - I'd have to lean to Denver not making the POs.

The distance between the 7th and 8th seed in the West is getting bigger every night...

Oh my god

And that will not help. I think definitely one win, and maybe two. But I'm looking at Phoenix as the one they have to get out of there. Take advantage of their lacking defense, and possibly still gelling in that game.

Regardless, that is quite the group of games

Funny thing I just realized, Detroit and Boston can clinch a playoff spot with a combination of 8 wins and or 8 Atlanta losses. Any idea how long it will take a western team to clinch?
