:D Thats correct.

Amazing isn't it?

What would be more amazing is if these two teams ENDED the season on top of their respective conferences!

If the Lakers and the Celtics are in the finals it is really going to bring basketball back in a big way. Lebron is already doing it as well as Kobe of course and even if the Lakers and Celtics don't meet this year if healthy they surely will next year. Even though the Celtics are the team I fear the most in the East I still want them in the finals.
With the Lakers healthy and a full season with Gasol and Bynum they are almost a sure thing to come out of the west next year and the Celtics will make the finals next year with all the chemistry a year will bring them and there young enough where nobody should have a drop off season.

I don't like the league making teams in europe though unless they make the season shorter which they should to about 60 games imo.
To much traveling and it is going to wear out our players. Making the season 60 games is extremely important and I really wish the league knew to do that. Not only would players stay healthier but they would be able to play alot longer. Instead of our players hanging it up anywhere from 10-15 years they would be able to have 20 seasons and guys like C-Webb would still be good. The league would have even more talent then it does now which would be scary.

I also think with training camp, back to back games, 82 game season plus most of the elite players go far in the playoffs they need to go back to having the best college players represent us in the olympics instead of the nba players. They would probably want the win more then the nba players and are young enough to not have to worry about getting tired (the rookie wall is a concern but alot of rookies don't even play for the first couple of months) and it would make the transition to the nba easier for them. The olympics is a step up from college ball so it would be perfect. I think a team of Derrick Rose, Eric Gorden, Kevin Love, O.J. Mayo and the rest of the top prospects could do it plus it would give the scouts a better look at players to see how well they mess with other good players.

Thoughts?
