Give Dantley the job!
Some may say he played the players to much, but I personally feel he played to win at all cost. He knew this was a big game, he benched A.C. and played the players he felt could win the game for us. I think he had Klieza on the bench to long in the 4th, thats my only complaint (only saw 2nd half). He did a great job switching from man to zone, you can hear him calling plays, he was moving along the sideline, and talking to the refs.

I agree I seen bits and pieces of the game because I am down on this team not getting better. But he did a good job times I turned to the game I did not see much of Carter and that is a good thing. Truth be told Carter belongs in a third world country playing basketball because he is a classic journeymen at best.
Iverson, Iggy, Willie Green, Sammy D, Josh Smith, Rasheed and Ben Wallace, Larry Hughes Garnett, Francis, Lebron, Melo, K Mart, Wade, Amare, Q Richardson, T Mac, DC, and C Webb

I would not be against it, though I do not see it happening. My only worry would be that we give him the job, he performs "alright" we get knocked out of the 1st round, and he has done "just" enough to retain the job for next season. Then we kinda get a Bzdelik version 2.0, and have to replace him halfway through next year, because he wasn't who we thought he was.

Watching Karl go bye bye wouldn't bother me a bit, but doing it now isn't going to change this teams fate this year IMO. Until Melo, AI, Kmart, Camby and every other Nugget decides to move the ball and play together it won't matter who coaches them. Unless it is someone who will command some discipline and bench guys or until we blow up the coaching staff and the roster things are going to continue to be this way.
I wouldn't mind seeing A.D. get his shot at coaching this team though. If you get rid of Karl, you have to get rid of Moe as well or he might influence the next guy.

That's the problem with Karl. He does not have an offensive system that demands they play together. Instead of trying to make all the talent he has work well together, he decided the team should play street ball.
A new coach could change the team's fate for this year. Yes, it may not, but the team's fate won't change with Karl here. So there is nothing to lose. All you get is gain. Team may do better or the FO will find out if whomever replaces Karl now, can be the future coach of this team next year.

I'd target Phil Jackson's, Greg Poppovich's, and the Piston's assistant coaches and successors and interview them.
Obviously talk to Rick Carlisle and JVG as well.
Jackson and Popovich are not leaving the teams they coach now and this teams offense would be worse with JVG did you see his offense in Houston that was atrocious, no way do i want that man coaching this team.
Allowing fear to permeate your being will hamper your dreams before you even begin them.

Yeah, people just throw out names they have heard and say they should be our coach. JVG? are you serious? that guy didnt get houston anywhere and they were one of the most painful offensive teams to watch while he was coach, even with tracy mcgrady. AD would be much better.

Its funny, the same people calling for Karl's head are saying we should hire AD as his replacement.
Last night, AD did exactly what you guys have been chastising Karl for, played the same seven guys, didn't call time outs to stop the momentum, didn't make adjustments on offense to counter the Pistons D, stayed in the zone way too long on D (how many wide open looks did the entire pistons team get?).
AD is NOT an improvement over Karl.
