Lebron is top 3 in terms of best teammate. From the Verajao + him coming off the bench at the same time, to giving Boobie confidence after the rook/soph game. He trusts his teammates and lets them know he cares about them and it isn't just basketball; he wants to bond.

Love it.

Yeah, I don't really get all the arrogant comments regarding LeBron. He's a basketball player who happens to know he's good at basketball. But is that a bad thing? Oh well. I've always thought more than anything else that LeBron was kind of shy regarding all the attention. He's gotten much better but I don't view him as someone that is as practiced regarding the media as alot of other players. What he does do however is back his teammates in a big way. What's funny is that even then people view it as being a camera hog. Sure he was there for the Rookie/Sophomore game and the 3 point shoot out, but you didn't see him at all during the dunk contest. That's because he didn't have his "lil brotha" in it.

Definitely like to hear things like this about Lebron; it's always good to see when guys at the top of the game really aren't horrible people.

To be fair I think he has really matured this season. Basically he acted like a kid before. Stuff like pretending you are going to enter an exhibition game and then not donig it was some of the immature stuff he did, and he often didn't really say the right thing in front of the camera. I think he has much better self awareness this year.

Reading the op, it seems that Lebron will truly be a great player in the league in all senses.

I don't know much about the Cavs, but do you guys feel that LeBron is more of a KG type player than a old Kobe type player? (In the sense that he cares more about winning than his personal stats?) Do you think, if Lebron was paired up with a Dwight Howard, or Gasol, J'ONeal, where at times he would be the number 2 option, but the team would vastly improve he would be for it or against it?

Lebron is a unique personality in the NBA. He's lovable and charismatic like Magic, confident and competitive like Jordan, and it remains to be seen, but I think he will be loyal like KG. When people call Lebron arrogant and bash him, I generally just chalk it up to them either being senile and forgetting or being too young to remember and understand what Jordan was like.

I mean, he was the first guy to come to the All Star Game as a walking advertisement. Guys disliked him to the point that Isaiah was able to lead a freeze out against Jordan in the all star game. He would openly chastise his teammates, including almost getting in a physical confrontation with Will Purdue in a practice that was open to the media.

And that was the most endeared athlete in the history of basketball.

All of the talk about LeBron "stealing" Gibson's moment in the rookie/soph game pissed me off the most. I think that LeBron just loves Gibson and loves to watch him play.

It's nice to know that he gave a speech to the new guys. All the new guys are playing with passion. It was a tough loss last night, but I still like many of the things I saw from Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, and especially Delonte.

Wally's shot will fall, but for the time being, Mike Brown needs to make him scale back on the shots a little. 18 shots from wally is way too many. He should be shooting the ball 10-12 times at most, and most of those should be spot up 3 pointers.

Mike Brown has done a good job of fitting these guys in so far, but he still needs to tweek things a bit. We'll get there...this was a real good trade.

LeBron James is without question an excellent team-member and TEAM player.

That being said, I hope you are right C'Mon, because I'm starting to have my doubts.
