How much would you guys hate me if I started a thread called: Jermaine O'Neal?!?!?!?
Unrestricted: Jermaine O'Neal (ETO)
ETO = Early Termination Option

Carlos Arroyo
DeSagana Diop
Chris Duhon
Bostjan Nachbar
Patrick O'Bryant
Mickael Pietrus
Brian Skinner
Kurt Thomas
Thats pretty much how I feel. Pietrius really intrigues me, especially if Posey deciedes to opt out of his contract.

Posey can opt out, and ask for a multi-year extension with 8% raises starting with this year's salary, or a bigger part of the MLE.
I think he'd be satisfied if Danny guaranteed him that if exercises his option for $3.46 million, that he will get, 4 more years on top of that in 2009, with 8 % raises each year.

Duhon and Diop would be great. I just love Pietrius' defense. He can also drain the three ball.

I like the idea of Diop as a backup at Center. If we can't land him I think Patrick O'Bryant would be interesting. He has a huge wingspan and I believe had a 9'4" standing reach. He was never going to fit in with what Don Nelson was doing with Golden State. He can't be any worse than having Pollard on the bench. The guy is a better shot blocker with much better mobility at 7 foot, not to mention having a better offensive game than Diop.

Duhon would be perfect. He is a proven back up point guard. He is used to being a back up and knows his job is to set up others.
Diop could be interesting. If our big man coaches can spend an off season with him he could be a heck of a player next fall. Diop and Baby coming off the bench would be a lot of beef.
