our coolest lineup?

Post#1 » by TruSkool » Tue Feb 26, 2008 4:50 pm

if you fiddle around with our CURRENT roster...can u name a single lineup you would like to see on the floor at the same time, together?

this is mine-

farmar
kobe
ariza
odom
gasol

i think it would make the most entertaining lineup out of our roster.

3pt specialist lineup:

Big man lineup:
Kobe
Odom
Turiaf
Gasol
Bynum

We have 2 allstar big men. Why would anybody not want them on the floor at the same time? I know the Suns have lost a few since Shaq but with Shaq on the court Amare has been averaging over 30. Bynum and Gasol are a hell of a 1-2 punch and throw that in with Odom.
This is your lineup

Bynum 16 points 12 rebounds 3 blocks 32 minutes
Gasol 20 points 10 rebounds 1.5 blocks 35 minutes
Odom 14 points 11 rebounds 5 assits 35 minutes
Kobe 27 points 5 dimes 5 boards 35 minutes
Fisher 10 points 5 dimes 27 minutes

Bench

Ronny
Radman
Luke
Sasha
Farmar
Ariza

I think Kobe could get about 7 to 8 dimes a nite with Bynum, gasol, Odom, and Fisher around him.

That is very true. Kobe could even average a triple double because the man can really rebound and if they had a game plan were they threw it into Bynum first and Gasol kept up his 22 point average and Kobe was third option he could get 21 10 10 if he wanted to.

I don't think iki4life meant to this post to be about who should actually start but rather a fun way to look at what lineups you would like to see on the court at the same time:

These are mine:
Farmar
Vujacic
Kobe
Gasol
Bynum

Or

Vujacic
Kobe
Ariza
Odom
Gasol

This first line up is simply because i like to watch famar and vujacic play. The second acutally has some reason to it. You got Vujacic, Kobe and Ariza guarding the perimiter. At the same time you have Vujacic and Kobe for outside shooting and Gasol and Kobe for mid range to interior shooting. Odom can hit some outside shots and can slash to the basket along with Ariza and Kobe. Plus all of them can run with Kobe, Odom and occasionally Vujacic dishing out dimes.

I'm going to go the Don Nelson route and try a lineup that poses the most potential for mismatches.

Odom and Bryant in the backcourt. Walton, Gasol, and Bynum up front.

We'd have to use a zone defense, though.

This would be a cool lineup

Bynum
Gasol
Ariza
Kobe
Odom

So big it would kill teams

This would be a underrated successful wise lineup

Bynum
Gasol
Odom
Kobe
Sasha

You absolutely can not double off Sasha or anybody else for that point and they average about 6'10

If we go small I want to see Lamar,Kobe Ariza in the frontcourt with Farmar and Sash in the back.
