Let's see how this plays out. The game isn't over yet.
Yeah, our effort on the glass is great as is our covering of their 3-point shooters. Offensively, 7/34 from the field. We aren't doing anything particularly well tonight.

7 steals, 6 offensive boards. Those are signs that the effort is there. We just haven't figured out their defense. It's like they have 6 players out there. They're absolutely stifling.

Anything to get this offense going.
Are you really surprised. I mean, really ?

Very, very impressed with the Houston defense tonight. Washington is missing a ton of shots, obviously, but the Rockets are denying passes, chasing players all over the court and thru every screen, contesting every shot with a hand in the face. It is -- easily -- the most impressive defensive performance I've seen by any team in the NBA this year. Washington's shooting isn't helping matters, but Houston is doing its part and then some.
Do they always play such great defense? I don't have the opportunity to watch them very often, but this is just an awesome display.
I know we're not supposed to give credit to the opponent -- every missed shot is further evidence of complete moral and intellectual failure of the head coach -- but these Rockets look pretty focused to me.

Satan is happy with your progress.
