They are playing back-2-back road games minus there best two players, and they had a heart-wrenching emotional win against one of the best teams in the league last night.......they are playing a team with a 12 game winning streak......I hate that they are getting their butts handed to them, but come on....blowing the team up because one of the best defensive teams in the league are playing great defense??? Ease up.
Now if this happens against Chicago.....then let's talk about blowing the mutha-sucka UP!!

Come on Rockets, beat us by 50! The Wiz don't have any pride; they won't do anything to stop Houston from doing it. Man, a 50 point loss would be all-time embarrassing.

He's not going to get fired, but you're right -- every single missed shot is his fault. Every single one.

All reasonable people agree on that.

Agreed. And that's a testament on just how good Houston's defense has been, and just how bad our offense has been.

If I'm Eddie, I go into the locker at halftime. Put on some headphones, pick up a magazine, sip on a drink, and not say a word to the players.

That might be a good strategy if the problem was effort, but it's not. EJ needs to make some adjustments. Obviously, Houston has figured out our offense. We can't even get a look. No team is THAT good defensively. There must be a weakness. It's up to EJ to find it.

Actually, in the last 3 minutes or so of the 2nd quarter, the Wizards starting getting better looks.

Yep, we are playing so great that we are only down by 28 points.

The Wiz completely mailed this one in whether you admit it or not. It's understandable though since this was a very, very difficult spot for us. B2b on the road against a red-hot team. I don't think any team in the NBA would beat the Rockets in that type of spot.

Did I say we were playing great?

I said we were playing hard. Effort isn't the problem.

Well, if it's possible to dig that deep of a hole in a half, it's possible to dig out of it in the other.

Honestly, that would send a message. If they don't wanna play, then he shouldn't want to coach! Then again, can't take anything away fro Houston's defense. I just want someone to get mad!! Where's the tough guy with the attitude to say....H to the No, you're not coming down this lane like that........you're not coming along my baseline unless you wanna end up sitting on the lap of the camera man.......somebody PLEASE get mad....fire up the rest of the team!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead:

I think you should probably watch something else. It will do you, and everyone else here, a big favor.

gowiz999 wrote:"They (refs) are just going to take the rest of the night off.."

I agree Buck. It's so evident that they put big bucks on the Rockets -10.

Houston is obviously playing good D but it compounded by the ref letting them bang and crap out of us. I know this happens often enough but it sucks.

Teams that a good ( recognized by the refs ) can foul the crap out
of you and get away with it.

NY scored 2 on a close in shot where the defender slammed into him
and went to the floor and couldn't get up because of the contact but
NOTHING CALLED.

Glad DS got a T to help show the refs what they are missing.

But EJ isnt helping either. In coaching, sometimes if you blink with
the wrong move, the other team is off to the races.

One of the reasons I don't care for EJ. Sure the last 2 games were nice, but we are talking EJ here. Did you really think it would last. He is a
heart breaker and has broken my heart to many times for me to get
excited about him as a HC after 2 good games after a ton of bad ones.

It's just a matter of when you ( individually ) see the pattern and give up
on him.

How are we going to even score 60 points in the game with this type of offense?

If we're still down by 20'something at the end of the 3rd, I'd like to see the young guys play the 4th qtr. Opec, NY1, D-Mac, Mason and Blatche.

Are you kidding, and miss this historic azz whoppin. I don't see any effort. Granted Mutombo is a great player, but I'd be ashamed to get schooled by that fossil. Effort isn't running down the shot clock doing that stupid weave at the top of the three point line. Every team knows how to defend that BS. Which is why we end up taking long range bombs. I never expected to win this game, but for God sakes, no PROFESSIONAL team should lose like this. It's pathetic and there's no excuse for it. How many times have we been blown out by 40+ points. Sweet jesus!!
