I've been waiting for this ever since the trade.

I want to see harris in a non-Avery system.

Harris without Avery could be special!
Anyway great news time to make that playoff push, and if we miss no biggie because after all we are sorta rebuilding :)

A little bit I heard he took his play-calling responsibilty, the mavs weren't a good passing team thats why they wanted J-kidd not their selfish but they only used to run isos and other stuff for dirk and Howard. Thanks to J-Kidd they should be running more, and players will get easier shots.

Devin Harris could be an all-star for east as early as next year he really only competes with Billups, Calderon, and Bibby since kidd is out of the east, and Harris never really was never given a big role in Dallas, he was on and off starter so it will be interesting to see if he can step up his play in new jersey which most likely happens, next season he could be averaging 18 pts, and around 6-8 assists per game like Tony Parker or Chauncey Billups neither were really passers and consider shoot 1st point guards but still are unselfish and don't rack up assists like J-Kidd or Nash.
I don't think I Trust The Process anymore! :banghead:

Badger alum here so I've followed Devin's career closely. Here is my take:

Basically the Mavs jacked Devin around from day one. He was a starter first game of his first year and, by midseason, was barely playing. That was mostly under Don Nelson. Nelson and Harris are both Milwaukee natives by the way. Then under Avery his playing time fluctuated alot. One game he would play 25 mins and the next 8. I have been praying for Devin to get out of Dallas since he was drafted. And wouldn't you know it, I live in New Jersey. So I am very stoked.

I know it's wildly optimistic ... but in my dreams, DH leaving Dallas turns out like Nash.

MVP MVP MVP (j/k .. . or am i? ;-) )

Devin Harris = Tony Parker + defense

Devin, in no way, is like Billups except for the fact that they did not show much the fist couple of years in the league.

He wanted him to be a playmaker, which Devin isn't and will never be. Avery's kinda like that Taekwondo guy from Conan last night in that he's an uptight attention whore -- he likes to yell at players and look passionate and all that and the cameras and beat writers would see it and go "scoop! what a fiery coach!"

ITS TIME FOR "THE BLUR"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Harris breaks down these defenses and makes the game easier for Carter, RJ, Krstic, and Boone, those who wanted us to tank will forget all about that. I'm excited, our new team is about to add another dimension...let these people sleep on us, i think if we were to draw Orlando in the first round, we'd pay them back for that torching Hedo put into us. GO DEVIN!!!! GO NETS!!!!!!!!!
