NO NETS will be good with Frank coaching the team. I mean, what the hell is he trying to do with his offensive sets at the end of the game? Giving it to RJ to run a pick and roll? Yeah because we all know RJ is a great ball handler and great passer :nonono: .

You give it to your best player and let him do something with it. Put VC on the block and let him do work.

And also, why the hell is Nachbar in the game at all in the end? Nachbar and Boone against Howard and Lewis? Frank is a clown.

Boone played Dwight as well as I've seen anyone play him this year. He certainly wasn't your problem.

And who do you put in to guard Lewis or Howard else ?

Swift or Sean can't guard perimeter players or real centers .

Hedo takes and hits some of the dumbest shots I have ever seen. I think that's basically why he's always been such a poor playoff performer, he can chuck it up in the regular season but come playoff time his percentages are just atrocious.

We need Devin,so that Marcus can come of the bench (although he was horrible coming of the bench thus far this season) and add depth, only 2 players from the bench scored, that's pathetic.

Definitely am impressed with Marcus lately,he's proving that he can be a legitimate point guard.

I'm impressed with VC as well,he seems motivated,he knows that he has to carry the team.

Oh well,tough loss.

I really wish Nets could trade RJ for Jefferson from 2005 season, you know, a guy who was a team player, rebounded and most importantly was a great defender, was even able to give fits to the best perimeter guys in the league. I strongly dislike the player he has turned in to this season, he is almost complete opposite of what he was. I was almost ready to contact Nasa at one point bcuz i thought I had new black hole sighting but it turned out to just be RJ.
Btw like someone else mentioned Frank is still dope, RJ was forcing everything at the end of that 4th but he still kept running plays for him, I'll give a pass to Marcus bcuz of his inexperience and Armstrong wasn't playing too smart either so had to be in the game. I hate Hedo, so it was extra painful watching him torch Nets . I wonder how much of a difference Harris will do.

40+ minute game again for VC. I guess Ager really is that bad...
VC's attempt to put back that desperation heave off the backboard was close, that would have brought the house down. Even the miss was kinda cool.

Right now RJ / VC are off the charts. All they need is for solid team defense & just one more guy to have a "big" night and they can win. I don't know how long the "big 2 hah" can keep this up though. Harris might be the answer.

What's wrong with SWat. 5 minutes 2 fouls....he hasn't come back from New Orleans.

Turk & Lewis look effortless shooting the 3's sometimes its frankly annoying lol. The pick & roll between Turk & Dwight killed us, our rotations couldn't match up to Dwight or if we sagged back Turk would make a play. Although Turk with the pivot/pivot was just an awful missed call by the Ref.

but again, this team had not quit. Too bad we couldn't pull this one out. Can't have a letdown against the Bucks. Damn I wish they didn't give up that 1st Indiana game.

Hedo tore us a new a hole out there, a couple of those points was due to piss poor defensive IQ by Josh Boone

Great air ball by Nachbar with 2 mins left when we needed a big shot

Just a sloppy, sloppy last 5 mins to that game by the Nets. Poor coaching, poor play, garbage defense. Oh well, its a work in progress....we need Devin badly :nonono:

yeah, but the Nets still had chances. It happens. I admire the effort though, if Kidd was leading this team we'd have been blown out by 18 points.

When we get our starting PG back and guys get a little bit more comfortable, we'll be alright. Tommorow's a new day Nets fans!!

Hedo always kills us, idk why but he just does. Yeah, I just hope RJ keeps his averages up so we can trade him for a good lotto pick. I'd rather have VC than RJ heading into Brooklyn and I know management would too since Vince is A) better at finding his own shot and playmaking and B) he draws crowds. Edit: Oh yeah and if we do wind up landing LeBron, we'd look to move him anyways since theyre both SFs and I just couldn't see them co-existing

But anyways, at least we have good news in Devin possibly able to practice.

I'm tired of that spiel about "stop hating Kidd". Kidd has had his foot out the door since the last NBA Finals and only stayed because he was whipped by Joumana into staying in NJ so she could get a TV deal...notice how soon as that relationship went AWOL, so did he!!

I appreciate what Kidd did, really I do, but i won't kiss this guy's butt when he quits on the team the way he did. Real superstar players don't do that garbage. Sorry guys.

I don't think most of us hate on him but the way he went out was just so well ...... unworthy of him .

It's just still to fresh right now , can't forgive him yet .

Totally agree w/ you here. We need a third consistent scorer and IMO, it has to be Kristic. We need him to give us at least a little something on the inside and open up the floor w/ his shooting. VC and RJ have played off the charts but not sure how much longer they can keep at this pace w/ the minutes they're logging. If Kristic steps up, it will make life easier on VC and RJ. Harris might be able to provide some of the scoring but I would much rather it be Kristic.

Problem today was he's not yet quick enough to guard Lewis or Turkoglu and also not ready to battle with Howard .

Bad fit for a recovering Krstic :( .

Nobody is saying you have to kiss his butt. You just seem to take a swipe at him every chance you get. Its time to let it go. Kidd did wonders for this franchise but he was entirely unprofessional in the way he left. Its sucks but whats the point in dwelling...lets move forward. No need to be like Raps fan towards Vince. We got a team thats exciting to watch and root for. Lets move forward and focus on that.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
