for a second I thought about taking camby next to KG but we had that the last 2 drafts and right now manu proofes that he was the right choice

I'm here, just to depressed to do anything right now. I hate my life. I'll make my pick in a second.

Feel for you man, hope the outcome isn't as bleak as reported and Yao is back for the P.O's.

Thoughts about the Dampier pick? he IS the starting center for Dallas and he is terribly underrated imo can't believe he fell this far

Y Ming/E Dampier
R Wallace/C Wilcox
R Jefferson/-----
B Bowen/B Gordon
G Arenas/J Tinsley

Oberto is also the starting center for the defending champion Spurs. I think Dampier is alright, but I don't think he was the best center picked this round.

Oberto is overrated imo. it's easy to look good defensively when you're next to Tim Duncan rather than Dirk Nowitzki

And it's easy to look quick when you're defended by Erick Dampier. He has the mobility of a manatee.

And Dallas is still a good defensive team with a Dampier-Nowitzki frontcourt

Dampier is useful against big low post guys like Dwight Howard, perhaps Duncan, because he can use his size to man up. I like Oberto more because he's versatile with who he can defend, he has enough mobility to guard quicker bigs like Bosh, Amare, Boozer, etc, and he has the strength to D up against bigger C's. He's also a very, very smart basketball player and brings a lot of intangibles.

I don't know who told you this, but Dirk is not a good defender..
