The teams meet again Sunday in Sacramento, after the Heat plays in Seattle in the middle game of its trip.

Kings forward Ron Artest , who missed the morning shootaround with what was described as food poisoning and a headache, closed with 14 points.

I don't know, he plays defense, a bit above average. As the last two games with him, we have looked like more diverse team in that end. I think Haslem is a very important piece, he is a guy that while being small, could get you 10 rebounds a game, moves an attacks screen and rolls in defense with descent lateral movement well, takes charges well. I think if the Heat are going to built to be a successful team, we have to think about defense by the fact that might be our biggest weakness as of late. With Wade, Shawn, and hopefully a rookie that brings in the points, we are going to need those pieces that do all the small things that don't show in the stat book, but win games. Haslem is one those type of guys. His contract is pretty descent to add, he is the type of guy who is reliable to add.

Last year we forgot about the small things guys such as Posey do, and we are seeing the results in how bad we got.

above avg for a starting pf ....i think u can argue that haslem is a top 15 pf in the nba and it definitely wouldn't be a stretch....marion a top 5 sf and wade top 2 sg...all we need is a decent pg not jwill whos probably one of the worst starting pg's and mark blount who is the same ... i can't really picture marcus banks starting for this team either a guy who was just the 3rd string pg for the suns now the starter for us and would have a big impact ? a great satrting 5 and a below avg bench is what is realistic for me to what i wanna see heat accomplish in the heat offseaso and with the east being as bad as it is right now with a roster like that we can easily get a top 4 seed and be competetive

While I agree, there was a time when Nash was 3rd string behind Kidd and KJ, and KJ and Cassell another time.

:wavefinger: No way Artest is better than Marion. I'll take Marion anytime ahead of Artest. Aside from talent, Marion's character is far better.

''It's good to come out of a game with five minutes to play because you're winning,'' said Wade, who did not need to carry his team, as usual, but just missed a double-double with 15 points and nine assists.
The game is an example of playing as a team. I think Wade should have confidence to his team mates and not over done it. . . . . There's always the issue that Wade should be shot down the rest of the season to be ready next season and to avoid some injuries which I disagree. IMO Wade should play and not over done it by carrying the team load too much and hand out more assist than playing too much one-on-one.
