It's comical when you listen to fans who don't watch the Cavs. If they knew how stupid they sounded when they imply that Lebron gets all these superstar calls, they'd keep their mouths shut.
I wish their star player would go a month in Lebron's shoes and get bodied up and slapped every time he goes through the lane and get a call maybe 1/3 of the time. Something tells me they'd drop the issue.

Not only that, but the whole "Your team has a star so you cant complain" philosophy is ridiculous. For starters, if your team gets screwed, they get screwed regardless of who is on the team. Secondly, and more importantly however, does that mean that
LA
Miami
Orlando
Boston
Phoenix
Denver
New Orleans
San Antonio
etc....
all cant complain because they have star players as well? Apparently ONLY bad teams can complain if they get screwed by the refs.....
Some people, especially a certain Magic fan on the general board, need to think before they type. It will save them both some time and some extreme embarassment. I cant imagine what kind of reaction there would have been if LeBron got even half of the calls that Redd got tonight.

Just wanted to verify that Mike Brown got the Cleveland job only after being passed up for a 3rd grade girls gig in favor of a player/coach option.
Here is a quote I found from the owner of the girls team "we just thought that she understood situational substitutions better than Mr Brown, but we wish him luck in the future, and here the Cavs need a coach".
In all seriousness, for about the last 6 minutes I was literally yelling at the TV for Joe Smith, but to no avail. Possession after Possession they didn't score because they had no inside presence whatsoever. Joe Smith would have won that game for them had he played the last 6 minutes and that is a guarantee. Ben Wallace and Varajao together in the closing minutes will only be a good idea if there is a 20+ point margin.
Then when he finally takes out Wallace, he puts in Jones. However at that juncture we really could have used an inside presence, not a 3 point shooter. Later on when Jones did hit the 3 it made sense to have him in because they needed a 3 point shooter, but he got in a couple of minutes too early.

Yeah, sitting LeBron until 6 minutes left in the 4th wasn't a good idea. This game sucked. I definitely thought we had it in the bag. It hurts even worse knowing Orlando forged a 4th Quarter comeback against the Nets
As a side note, no way Mo Williams drops 37 on Larry Hughes
Oh and I thought LeBron played pretty damn good. All his drives, the high banking layups/left handed finishes were exceptionally sharp tonight. He probably could've netted 40 or even 50 if he was more aggressive.

Wally Szczerbiak shot the ball like Larry Hughes did for us. Beside him, everyone actually shot the ball pretty good. Despite Szczerbiak shooting 5 for 18, the Cavaliers shot 49% from the field, including 41.7% from 3-pt range.
Cleveland got 27 assists, and this was only the second game that they lost when having 25 or more assists.
Why Szczerbiak played more minutes than LeBron is beyond me...especially with REDD and Williamms playing basically the whole game.
I know we were short-handed, but we still should have won this game by 10 points or more.
Delonte West played pretty good. He got called for a couple questionable travels, but beside that he did pretty good. He had 7 dimes and 8 rebounds. But his 3-pt shot is horrible. He doesn't need to be launching long shots.
Wallace played pretty good. He went soft to the basket a couple times, allowing bogut to block 2 shots on him, but he did hit 3 of 4 foul-shots. His 11 rebounds were expected. On defense he was okay. He was late on positioning constantly, and one time simply watched as Bogut ran up the middle for a thundering-slam - which seemed to energize the Bucks.
Varejao played decent in his 25 minutes, but missed a wide-open 10-footer. He got 6 boards, but seemed to be late to his spot almost every time.
Damon Jones played well (I think he's trying to make a case for himself), as as been the case for the whole season, but especially the last few weeks.
LeBron was...LeBron. He got burnt twice by Redd and once by Mason.
He shot well, and tried to let Delonte run the offense with the exception of a few times where the Cavs went down.
Overview: Watching the game, it seemed like the Refs had it in for West. I'll say this for sure: If he cannot push the ball any better than he has the last two games, then why have him start in-front of Gibson? Gibson will make his shots most of the time and his defense is seemingly as good as West's.
I do think that this was a trap-game for the Cavaliers, and I think they were keeping the minutes evenly distributed because of the Boston game. I also wonder if "Z" really had a stomach virus, or if he was held-out so he'd be fresh against Boston.
We'll see how it goes tonight, but I'm not as confident as I was 24 hours ago.

Could the Cavs get away with playing Gibson and West in the backcourt? West played pretty good D on Redd when West was in there with Damon Jones. I think they could. West can defend the 2guards pretty well and has done so over the last couple years.
I was mad that Delonte didn't play in the 4th until 4 minutes left. Delonte actually did okay againt Mo Williams relative to what others were doing against Mo. Mo had what 10 straight points againt Damon Jones in the 4th? Something like that. Mo was on fire but at least Delonte made him work for it more.
We have to wait until Delonte understands where the help is going to be. he is a smart player who thinks a player should be a certain place on the court. he has to learn the tendancies of the defense like Ben Wallace hardly ever being in the right place on pick n rolls. Urrgghh.. I remember Ben used to go at the guy with the ball HARD and they could never pass through him. Now it seems like he is a step slow and the guard can just get around him and penetrate easily. Thats what happened with Mo and Wallace's man alot in the 1st half.
Lebron was unstoppable and I am mad that he didn't get the ball even more. When he got the ball on the top of the key with Wally, Delonte on the wings...it seemed like the Bucks were heistant on doubling with their man..instead they doubled with a big man which led to easy buckets underneath which Cavs failed to score about 5-7 of them.

^^I think there are times depending on matchups when they could run Boobie and West in the backcourt together. My guess is Brown will put West and Pavs in the starting lineup once Sasha returns. Brown is still a defensive minded coach who seems to like starting a big SG than can defend. Boobie also ran into foul trouble earlier this season when he was a starter.
