You would expect different from a Marquette fan? Shame on you...
I agree with you except for one word, the one I changed in bold. Bo is smart, he recruits to his system, get's players who want to be here, want to be part of the university and the community and will work hard. They don't have the most talented team around each year, but they're a very good team...

when have the Badgers won the national title?
Dude 2006 Tom Gilbert takes the puck from Joe Pavelski between the circles and fires a wrist shot that beats Cory Schneider low stick side halfway through the 3rd period to give the Badgers the National Championship 2-1.
Also included in that road to the Championship was Jack Skille's triple overtime goal that beat Cornell 1-0.
I picked the Brewers because they were completely hopeless for 15 years (yes the Bucks were too but they had 2001 which is more than the Brewers can say)
1. Brewers (Haven't made the playoffs since I've been alive.)
2. Bucks (Other than 2001 have sucked my entire existence.)
3. Badger Football (Just because I haven't seen them win a championship.)
4. Badger basketball (Same as football)
5. Packers (I've seen them win, it was sweet but it's been a while.)
6. Admirals (I've seen them win, it was a few years ago, still fresh in my mind.)
7. Badger Hockey (I've seen them win a couple years ago, still fresh in my mind.)

I do think the Packers are the most popular team in the state though.
You're on a Bucks message board. Even those that post on the Brewers and Packers boards predominantly started off here. I don't think it's too surprising considering the source. Post this on a hardcore Brewers or hardcore Packers fan board (not saying we don't have some of them here, too) and your answer is different. Head over to Rivals or Scout boards and you'll probably see the Badgers run away with the poll.
Results aren't too surprising IMO. My vote is for the Badgers. Either sport is fine. Hockey wins enough, though. You don't have to 'hope' for a Championship there.

I voted Brewers. It would be amazing if we could squeeze one in before the Cubs get one.
Eh, I guess I'd put Bucks #2 but I just can't see them doing it for a long time.
3/4 like Twirly would be Badger Basketball/Football. The problem is we have almost zero chance of winning either. Our system in each is the best that we can do, we bring in the right guys for that old school grinding type system that allows us to be competitive but we can't really compete with the big guys unless we have an amazing season or get really lucky. I guess in basketball there is always a shot if we have a good team and get hot in the tournament.
#5 is Packers. I've seen it once so I can die happy. I don't know, I would consider switching them up to 2 and putting the Bucks at 5 because the Packers at least know how to put together a good franchise and care about winning.
#6 is hockey. Used to be a huge hockey fan, but I am the kind of person that likes having bragging rights in championships along with just seeing it happen. I have realized that even if we had an NHL team to make the title greater, the Ads did it again, or the Badgers won the title again that the only people that you could brag to are Canadians and Minnesotans. I have officially concluded that nobody else in North America watches or cares about hockey anymore.
