The big difference between Smush and Fish!

Jackson believes the return of Derek Fisher has made Farmar a better and more confident player.

"I think he's really encouraged Jordan to play well and hasn't made it competitive to that it's a battle out there between the two of them," Jackson said. "I think Derek really values the fact that he can share the time with Jordan and give him some instruction and information and continually help him know the league and the players."

I have a question - is it a good sign or a bad sign that we didn't really play well and yet we won by 13?

Think about Spurs ! They always play ugly, at least offensively. It's a good sign.
Anyway, I love so much when we keep teams under 90, a lot more than when we win 125 - 110.

I took my 6 year old son to his first Laker game last night.
Best feeling in the world.
He was smiling and happy the entire game. I think the cotton candy had something to do with that too.

It was an ugly game. It seemed the Lakers lacked energy in the first half. There were a ton of offensive rebounds for Portland. But the Lakers hung in there just enough.
In the second half, they came out with more energy. They were really active on defense. Portland started to miss shots. Kobe started to be more aggressive on offense. Lamar started to assert himself on the boards.
Farmar, Sasha, and Ronny just brought energy and hustle. Gasol was solid.
Good night Portland.

Great win. My kid thought so too. Then he fell sleep in the car. :)
