Which shot was better?

Post#1 » by Buck You » Wed Feb 27, 2008 5:38 pm

Ok, we've all seen Mo's and Redd's dramatic game winning buzzer beaters. So, which do you guys think was the better shot? I personally think Mo's was better because we were down late and came back and that just sealed the comeback. But I'll take Redd's any day of the week.

Mo's- more dramatic- better celebration- capped off a great comeback

Easily Mo's. That was a game we shouldn't have won.

Mo's...bucks were down something like 14 with under 2 to go...I was at the game, had driven home that day from Minneapolis to be at it and it was damn worth it...such a great game.

Where's the:

"Both were great shots so let's just enjoy them both rather than starting another Mo vs. Redd thread"

option?

Well Mo's for me goes def. into my top 3 bucks games ive attended. Was actually talking about this last night. In all likely hood its my #1 game for me. Last nights dramatic finish was just amazing cause you saw an amazing game from start to finish.

Short term right now im going with last night. After we lose tomorrow it will go back to Mo's/

Mo's, and it's not even close. He misses, we lose.

Mo's and it's not really that close. That game we were down a ridiculous amount late and Mo's shot was from deeper than Redd's, and it was while we were trailing as opposed to tied.

Mo's, but Michael's was a helluva shot

I'll say Redd's because I was at the game.

I do agree though, that coming from behind was huge in Mo's shot.

Redd's shot was contested and fell away from the basket, Mo's shot wasn't contested and he had momentum going for the basket.

Both good game winning shots.

Loved Redd's shot, but Mo's wins because we were losing, it was an absurd comeback, and he devastated someone's ankles before draining it.

Meh. Who cares. We won the game in both instances and that is the only thing that matters.

redd's shot was debated on first and ten this morning regarding whether he traveled or not...hey, it's national media exposure the bucks would not have otherwise gotten...

Mo's for sure. That is the best basketball game I've ever been to. Great division game, hard fought all the way through. Down double digits with less than 2 minutes to play. The "chase-and-foul" game actually works when Indiana misses something like 10 free throws down the stretch.
The whole crowd (that hadn't left) had the "This can't happen, can it?" air about them.
Plus, when Mo put up the shot you could hear a pin drop quickly followed by the loudest I've ever heard the Bradley Center. My wife and I were high-fiving everyone around us. It was insane.

I think that tarnished it just a bit. Lots of people left. I was watching the game with some friends and we turned it off.

I voted Mo, although Redd's shot did put a smile on my face

Both were great. Mo's was more exciting because we were down more.

But in terms of the shots themselves? Eh, probably still Mo's because of the dance his defender did, and because he was a little further back if I am not mistaken.

Mo's easily. As has been said if Mo doesn't make that shot, we lose, if Redd doesn't make that shot we still have a chance in OT.
