Jason Terry's defense

Post#1 » by randomhero423 » Thu Feb 28, 2008 2:25 am

How is his defense 1-10? I've always thought he was very solid. But I'm not that sure.

He is an underrated defender IMO, but dont expect him to make the All defensive team anytime soon either

He puts forth the effort on steals, but his man to man defense just sucks.

He's a streaky defender. When we're in the midst of clawing back to a lead or putting up a ton of points he's like a hungry lion trying to fend off hyenas from his kill.

Over-all he's a good on-the-ball defender and playing the passing lanes but piss-poor at keeping his man in front and gets easily overpowered by strong guards.

He's better than Nash, so it's fine with me. DEFENSIVELY, I mean.

I remember the time he was guarding (supposed to be) Nash in the playoffs,,,, and swoosh, Nash hit the three for the winner. Dirk jumped all over him. I am sure he has made some good defensive moves, that one just comes to mind.

I saw the title, "Jason Terry's Defense" and I thought, "whoa, that's an oxymoron waiting to happen or someone has entered a sensationalistic title to get people to look and possibly post." Guess, it worked... Still think it's an oxymoron
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

Terry is not very good on defense. Not terrible but definitely not the one you want to put on a star player.
