Turk is worth much more to Orlando than Odom, let alone a lot of the other jokers being brought up. Turk is our #1 scorer and one of the best closers in the league, all while being on a great contract. He pretty much is the anti-Odom. Turk single handedly beat NJ last night fouling out Jefferson and Carter in the process.

Not really, this is his first year producing. I have no doubt he can avg this in the future but nobodys going to offer a superstar, or their best prospects.. cmon.

No offer from Utah. He'd be nice off the bench for us, but Orlando would (understandably) demand at least a starter's price for him. We'd get priced out, and are pretty okay with that.

At first glance, this post makes sense. But upon re-examination, I am puzzled.

What exactly do you mean you need Al's size? Harrington is an inch shorter than Turkoglu. As for his bulk, he doesn't use it often enough for that to be a point of contention with the trade, IMO. And his "size" sure doesn't account for more steals, blocks or rebounds per game, as Hedo has him beat in all of those categories.

Personally, I think a Harrington+Pietrus for Hedo swap would be good for both sides. Nellie would probably love to run Davis-Ellis-Jackson-Turkoglu-Webber, even if you may not.

You're right, but I have this *fantasy* that Al will eventually man up. Probably would never happen, you're right, and Nellie would probably be all over this deal.

It's hard for Indy to consider him. He and Dunleavy are almost identical in the skill sets they bring to each team. While the Pacers were trying to acquire Mike Miller, I just see Miller and Dunleavy co-existing easier than Dunleavy and Turkoglu for some reason.

that's homerific. Hayes as well. Teams LOVE to overrate their youth.

I'll say Bargnani + large contract.

And we would laugh are ass off at this just like this   Why would we trade a 22 year old Bargnani who is a project and playing pretty well for Turkeyglue? Makes no sense for us even if we dump Kopono's deal. As we wouldn't gibe you Ford as well so don't say he's a bad deal as well.

I would give you Rasho and a filler but thats as far as I would go. Toronto isn't going to trade Bosh, Bargnani, Calderon or Ford for Hedo unless your sending us Howard as well.

This is one of the better offers in this rediculous thread, but Orlando would not even consider this. I doubt we would do Hedo for AK straight up.

Maybe because your prospect will never deliver the things Hedo brings to the table...

About the AK deal... Utah would never do it. Although straight up AK is probably the better player this situation suits the teams well. Hedo & his playmaking and clutch play need in Orlando. But if the Magic could get Memo while giving up something like Battie & Garrity now that would be great but this should be addressed in another thread.

I didn't say that I would do it but Sloan might not mind a more conventional inside player.... he is known for not liking shooting bigmen... still far fetched I guess.

Umm first of all Hedo is in his prime and Bargnani is in his 2nd season. Give Bragnani some time he will be a great player. I wouldn't trade Hedo for Bargnani and nor would Colangelo. You don't give up on your first overall pick in one season. Hedo is having a career year granted but he's playing with Howard and 'Shard. Put Bargnani there and he would perduce.

I suggest you look at the 5 and 7 assist games Bargnani has done in the last month as well. The guy can pass pretty damn good for a big man it was one of his strengths in the scouting reports.

Don't get me wrong I like Bargnani but I don't see a new Nowitzki in him... 20ppg 8 rpg is the max I see him producing(thats not bad at all)...

What are your expectations from him? 25 & 10? I doubt it somehow...

If Bargs perduces like that I would be damn happy. You would have Bosh and Bargnani both putting up 20-10 thats pretty good.
