The San Antonio Spurs select Etan Thomas!

While being hurt this season the poetry man proofed over years, that he can be a very productive player (and he is assumed to be healthy).

I felt the team needed another big body to throw around and Etan gives me the perfect physical complement to long armed Diop and agile Biedrins. In limited minutes (less than 20 minutes) he had really good rebounding and shotblockingnumbers in 07 (5.8RPG,1,4BPG) that, which will help me against the likes of the big insideguys the opponent has. With his exceptional strength he can hold his position against every big and will put up effective offense numbers (.574FG%).

Nice to have this blue collar big body in San Antonio!

while saying that random could have done better with me as tradingpartner if trading Tim Duncan, I confirm the trade!

The New York Knicks select 6'6" Shooting Guard Carlos Delfino.

I feel his defense off the bench will be a major asset to my team. He is starting to get consistent minutes for the Raptors this year and is definitely making the best of it. Jason Kidd will set him up for open 3's all day, and his defense will be needed at times.

Its never fun to have 3rd rookie pick in a 2 rookie field, but I will take Luis Scola. He should provide rebounding and some toughness.

the 11th round (next round) will be the rookie round. every GM HAS TO pick a rookie! later they can be traded or just given no playing time, but you cant waive them like other players after the draft always keeping the number of rookies at 16.

after the round no rookies can be drafted or picked up anymore (I dont think anyone would want to do so anyway, as 16 rookies dont leave a lot of talent).

rookies have to be rookies in 07/08, which means they need to have set a foot on an nba-floor until now...that said, e.g. greg odern or tiago splitter will be rookies in 08/09 and cant be picked.

The San Antonio Spurs select Jamario Moon!

Wow, really nice I got him as a productive defense stopper and athletic wing. He will provide some lockdowndefense(1.0SPG+1.4BPG), nice rebounding (6.2RPG) and even some shooting at the SF-spot, filling in when JoHo leaves the game, leaving no void for these minutes.

I feel he fits in perfectly and I'm happy to get him!
