Can someone explain to this Yi only fan this new offense?
I'm sorry... i stopped watching Bucks like 20 games ago when they sucked so much that it was painful even for a none bucks fan to watch.
What exactly does the PF do in this new offense and what kind of contributions are they looking for form the 4? Can you give me an example of a team that runs this offense that gets more national coverage? I dont' want to go through 3 hours of a bucks game just to see Yi jack up 2 19 footers in 10 minutes. I just want to know what i have to look foward to if Yi actually stays long enough to learn the offense.

Yi can't do anything but shoot jumpers and right now those aren't even falling making him almost completely useless on the court. Right now the offense consists of mostly Redd and Mo scoring and playing at a faster pace because that's the only way this team will be able to win. Bogut and CV are still getting touches down low and producing for the most part but if this team is going to win as currently constructed Mo and Redd are going to have to score.

Dont worry... this new offense is good for YI. The faster pace, with little organization, makes it more likely he gets those wide open dunks and at 7'0" is able to finish them. The old offense where he was defended, is where he struggled.... constantly getting rejected at the rim.
A haphazard offense is to Yis benefit.... as defenders runaway from him to gaurd the guys who are threats, it gives Yi the chance to flourish with his offensive strengths....
the wideopen, ungaurded jumper and the wideopen, ungaurded dunk shot.

Yi's got a bright futue, but he isn't going to be lighting up the league the rest of this season.
Right now I think its good for the bucks to let the backcourt play a little more uptempo and see how things go the rest of the year.
One thing I like so far is that the bigs aren't being ignored like in the past. CV and Bogut are getting a decent amount of looks, and as long as Mo and Redd are willing to defer when they are struggling the bucks should hopefully be able to keep playing some solid basketball.
Yi should continue to do alot of pick and popping for jumpers this season, but thats about all I'd expect.
Next year, he should take a big step forward though.

Haha, yeah i should've fixed it so that the spurs will shut down the bucks saturday.
Anyways, If the bucks can get things rolling to win their next three games, let the playoff fever begin!
At least I'm hoping for wins against the nets tonight and pacers sunday.
