Brown, a three-time All-Defensive second-team selection, will wear No. 93, the year he was drafted into the NBA and was married to his wife, Dee.

Way to go, Marc J. Spears, Brown was drafted 29th in 1992 (not 1993).

To be fair to Spears '93-'94 was Brown's rookie year in the league he didn't play in '92-'93, I am sure he is just writing what PJ told him and just assumed that it meant he was drafted that year as well.

Perk has been awful on the glass he doesn't necessarily play starter mins but he has to a better job than he did last night that is for sure.

I wouldn't be expecting PJ to be playing a huge role with this team, that isn't the point. He is here to play when he is needed, and likely more in the playoffs than you will ever see of him over the next month or two. If somebody is getting killed defensively or on the glass then Doc will go to PJ but he isn't going to play 15 mpg over the next 25 games.

I really don't think we brought Brown in to be another Scot Pollard. All of what you said suits Pollard, but not Brown. Brown is just too good to be used once in 3 games or so. As soon as he is back to real shape, I see him as consistent rotation player, with an increased role in the playoffs.

I also don't see Doc giving Powe the nod over P.J. With that being said, I think we won't see Posey at the 4 so frequently again. Baby is probably the backup 4 as of now, with Baby/Brown splitting the backup minutes at the 5 and Scal for what is left at the big man spots. Well, it's either Scal or Powe who will be getting the rest of the big man minutes.

I like BBD but he has done nothing to pull himself away from Powe with regards to getting minutes. I think Doc will continue with a 'pick-em" type philosophy and just go with one or the other guy depending.

Powe brings more with regards to rebounding, finishing around the hoop and scoring. Whereas BBD brings the ability to push big men away from the basket and good passing..

Really like PJ Brown joining the Celtics. He's a big that can still play good defense and can hit an open jump shot. I think he's a good fit, hopefully he's still in good shape.

I know its probably because of his injury....but I'd rather see him underneath more battleing for boards...

He's been playing at times more like Raef Lafrance than KG since his return....but I suspect that's by design...

We better get better at rebounding if we are gonna do anything in the playoffs..

If Brown is healthy I think Pollard is now inactive for the playoffs. Pruitt is the other guy, but then who is the third man out? One of Powe, BBD, or Scal will not make the active playoff roster. Sadly, Scal is a Doc favorite

doc says powe is one of his favorite players hes ever coached, and he and powe are both better than scal. also, its unlikely theyre going to need to use allen or allen at point with sam and house (assuming sam signs as planned), so theyre not going to need scal's semi ability to play small forward
