The Bulls aren't going to give Kirk away for bench players. He's the starting PG and will be until (rather, if) he's traded in a deal for a star player. Paxson has been pretty clear that with this last deal (sending Wallace out) that he'll be focused on making a consolidation trade, not the reverse.

Hinrich would be a nice fit there though.

I agree. That's where the value of an exp contract (raef) or a pick is needed.

It depends on what Bulls can get with other trades. Raefs exp makes it very possible to get a star in a trade. Kirk will not do as much. The bench players would mainly be taking some of our young potential and throwing it onto the bulls. From what I gather, though, bulls don't need quantity but quality players.
