Magic fan here. But I do have a question.
Don't you just want to laugh at this ranking?
Boston has the best record in the league and they are ranked #8.
Is this guy serious?

Disagree with rockets being #1...they should be #6 or less. Detroit, San Antonio, L.A. (Lakers
) are the only teams in a series that would worry me. We'll see what people say after/if we pick up Sam and play a couple games. Us at 6 (on NBA.com's rankings) though? I guess I do laugh at that ranking and any for that matter...Do the power rankings really tell us anything worth while? I mean anyone can watch espn highlights, see a few season records and pick the top 5 who could/should win it all...

Power rankings are a joke, simple as that. Boston is 8th right now out of 30...but what's this gonna matter when the playoffs begin?

They basically just give some people a reason to talk trash, if their team is ranked high, they can rub it in other teams fans faces.

The power rankings are based on regular season wins. They are just a picture of how hot a team is. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with those rankings, but they have nothing to do with injuries. The Rockets are only going to move higher if keep their winning streak alive this whole week, they don't base it on injuries or how they will do in the playoffs. They just base it on weekly wins.
