neither IMO. The Celtics still have a roster spot open and they used the vet minimum for Brown anyway. I don't see how this effects Cassell's decision -- if he gets bought out in the first place.

sam cassell will join the celtics. GK talked to sam but said it sounded like denver always was the 2nd choice because sam wants to play with KG (one of his best friends) again.

i read it somewhere on rockymountainnews or denverpost i think

Well...if you were Cassell...would you go to a team that has pretty much no chance at going to the finals with fatboy coaching (Nuggets) or to a team that already has 3 stars and pretty much guaranteed themselves an Eastern Conference Finals appearance (Celtics) vs Detroit?

Uh, we all like to criticize Karl around here, and there is no problem with it. BUT, you do understand that the only reason why Cassell even considered Denver, at any time this season, was BECAUSE of Karl, right? Without Karl, we are not even on his radar. So it is extremely ignorant to blame Karl in this situation.
