I remember I had a pic of my ex as my avatar and I got it removed, that pissed me off.

I've always been good about the size limits though...renegade!

Facts are Diener has protected the ball, dished a decent amount of assists and has very rarely turned the ball over. Defend Meer and Carlos all you want...but they could learn something from Diener about not turning the ball over...they could also learn stuff about picking up women, multiple orgasms and roundhouse kicks, but that is a different story for a different day.

End of the day, I always liked Diener, always preferred him to Arroyo and was genuinely sad when he was the odd man out here.

Indy was playing .500 basketball without JO when Tinsley was the starting PG. Since Tinsley got hurt, Indy has been one of the 2 or 3 worst teams in the NBA. Diener is putting up numbers, but he isn't doing much else. Diener makes JJ look like Bruce Bowen on the defensive end of the floor.

Got some message talking about a ban or something on sig rights...one of the Magic mods tried to resolve it, but it just got too late. I was like I'm working 60+ hours a week to deal with 1 pixel because of some fat 40 year old fascist virgin...so I just thought screw it.

The Magic Mods were ok...the global mod was anally retentive

Point taken, but an injuries can take their toll on a team later rather than sooner and in weird ways. We've all seen the weird circumstances as to how our team could respond for instance with or without Grant Hill in the lineup or back in the day we'd respond erratically to Penny injuries. In the end teams can capitalise long term. Furthermore, Tinsley is a big part up in Indiana when healthy....2 starters down is bigger than 1. My point wasn't that Diener is superior to Tinsley who does impress me when fit, my point is that our Point Guards could learn from Diener on passing, playing smart and not turning the ball over...Maybe he is giving poor defence(probably due to sexual exhaustion) but I'd still rather be calling on Diener than Arroyo, he knows how to play smart and in control...

Watch a Magic game, Jameer is not a starting quality NBA PG. Sorry, but he's not and never will be.

The Pacers would kill to be able to start Jameer right now.

Diener is such a gym rat that he was destined to earn a roster slot. He has evolved into a backup quality level, from bench scrub.

Travis simply proves that hard work can replace elements of sheer talent.

he may be putting up numbers and losing, but at least he's putting up numbers.

i believe we hit a slump earlier this season where Nelson wasn't even putting up numbers.

and there was a period where we were extremely hot and Arroyo was our starter - and Nelson wasn't even playing.

this isn't a hate on Nelson or big up Diener post, it's just an example that sometimes, just sometimes, one player's performance is just that - one player's performance - and that they're not responsible for the entire team. (it's kind of a harder argument to make in the case of a PG...)

I always thought he would do well if given the chance. I am not saying anything about starting quality. But I have always wished him well.

True story. But im not suprised at all that we let him go. Dont forget who our gm is. That guy couldnt evaluate talent properly if his life depended on it.

Indiana won tonight; Diener had 10pts/10ast.

One turnover. Bad shooting performance again, though.
