so you are implying that b/c MJ ruled the 90s, the other players were not great?

no great teams in the 90s? pistons? bulls? knicks? pacers? rockets? spurs? jazz? etc etc etc etc
the play was so competitive, the defense was tough, two things the nba lacks today.. the 2000s are a joke of a decade (not talentwise ofcourse) and the ratings dont lie.. something tells me you didnt start watching basketball till the 2000s..

The NBA in the 90's was much more enjoyable for me. Maybe it was just because of the Pacers being contenders, or Michael Jordan...or the fact that i was a teenager and that era just left an impression on me.
I'd argue that teams in the 90's that didn't win Championships are just as good as teams that won in the 2000's the Bulls were just that good. The 98 Pacers or Jazz were just as good as the 04 Pistons. The 96 Sonics could beat any team that won a championship from 2000 to now. They were on a 70 win pace at one point in the 95-96 season. They just ran in to a juggernaut that no team now has to face. The center and point guard positions were head and shoulders above anything we've seen so far.

'93 Suns and '06 Heat are another good example of teams that would be champions or only contenders if their eras were reversed.
Battling ridiculous homers one incredibly biased argument at a time.
