I'm ecstatic with Harris thus far. I've been nervous excited ever since I heard we where getting him.

And I hope Kidd does great too. I disagree with people who think for you to win a trade the other guy must lose. I'm hoping both Dallas and NJ get exactly what both teams wanted out of the trade.

The trade was good for both teams. We needed a floor general and ya'll were looking for a young stud; looks to me like we both got what we wanted.

Its official...Devin stepped on the court and took the game to a different level tonight...an adrenaline driven PG who lifted the Nets in way we havent seen in a while...

Now we can officially welcome him to the New Jersey Nets...

I'm glad to see all the love from the Nets. I have been called all kinds of crazy stuff on the Mav's board, the trade forum and the general discussion forum for supporting Devin and thinking our problem is Avery.

I have almost become an outcast for lobbying Carter instead of Kidd to the Mavs (with us keeping Harris, Howard & Dirk).

I have been told to STFU. Whatever! I can go on & on. But I do watch players and games like a "scout," not like a "fan." The Mav "fans" just don't recongnoze and I can see that NJ fans do!

Much love Devin! I hate the fact that you are in a Nets uniform, but I am happy you are in a place that you are wanted.

This sounds like what I said about Nash as well. Mav fans wanted to trade him and half our team for Shack back in 2005 and now he is on a team he is wanted on.

Before you start trying to come up with sweet nicknames, why don't you learn how to rhyme first.

I loved this trade from the start and I'm happy seeing Devin Harris starting off the way he has for his debut for the Nets. He has the quickness and the SHOOTING (!) from the PG position that we haven't had ever since the 2002-2004 Jason Kidd. And what's great about it is that, with his shooting, he helps out the games of VC and RJ.

Jason Kidd will, and always be, remembered for turning this franchise around. So many memorable plays and moments during his tenure here in Jersey. What I don't want to remember is how he literally sucked the life out of the team this year with his negativity and lack of passion and drive from the Jason Kidd we know. Clearly, a change was needed.

And applaud Thorn and Kiki for pulling off an amazing deal for an aging PG. We all know about Devin Harris but it seems that Diop is a gamer and from the looks of it, he also likes his freedom here in NJ so here's hoping that he re-signs with us. Trenton "The Capital" Hassell seems to be a gamer as well. And let's not forget about those extra draft picks that we got and you have yourself a raping of sorts.

I'm liking the future for the Nets. Good thing we're not managed by Isiah. The Dallas deal was better than the Portland (Outlaw and Jack?) and the Lakers (Farmar and Odom?) which is why I think Thorn swallowed Hassell's contract quicker than you can say JASONKIDD.

That's because you can't shut up about it being a bad deal. I love Harris but it's a done deal; get over it. He was destined to go to a team where he could spread his wings and try unbelievable crazy stuff without some midget breathing down his neck.

PS: The alley oop to VC reminds me of the old end-of-the-quarter plays we use to run for Stack at the baseline.

When was the last time anyone saw a NJ PG dunk the ball? Devin's going to be great for this team. It was nice to see Carter smiling and putting in the effort. It just shows me how much he was affected by playing next to Kidd. As much as I loved watching Kidd play, it's much more fun to watch the Nets play now. I'm loving the new era already, but it is only one game.
