Boone not picking up a foul is defiinately a good thing of course. IMO he's our smartest post player, but unfortunately not the most talented. He's an extremely hard worker and is very solid. I think he's better suited in limited min (maybe 15-20)...kind of like last season, off the bench.

I kinda disagree. slighty. He didn't pick up a foul. But meanwhile he was getting manhandled by Bogut. Maybe he needed to take a good whack at the guy to get him out of rhythm..

I agree with the 15-20 minutes a game though. he's not a starter or a 6th man. role player.

Boone is fine just where he is with his time.

yeah, i don't understand the Boone hate here. Boone has his off nights defensively where he'll get schooled but the effort is always there and Boone is a solid rebounder. I think he not only deserves to continue to start but he deserves the minutes he's getting.

Krstic on the other hand, he might end up coming off the bench if it looks like he's not going to be getting paint touches or being able to knock down his jump shot. Diop not only does more defensively but he also has shown us that he can step up and hit that 15 footer. Curly's time and starting spot is now in danger with the emergence of Big Diop!!!

Nets took turns on Bogut and he just had a good game. He outrebounded Kristic, and was making contested shots against Boone and Diop. I don't think he "mandhandled" Boone. Bogut wasn't doing anything defensively to stop him. Boone got good position offensively and defensively, deflected passes, was rebounding, and scoring.

it's not boone hate. im just recognizing his weakness, figuratively and literally. i like him on our team, but given the option, i'd reduce his minutes for more physical and athletic players. It just sounds like hate because i like our other guys.

i didn't mean "hate" as in "hate hate"

Boone deserves that PT and i think he is one of the reasons why our team will be better than people think. He's a good player and the more experience and time he gets this year will make him tougher, i already think he gets better and smarter as a player with each game.

It's not just about Boone's D vs Bogut... how about his team defense vs the penetration of guards and small players on the other team?

Great job Harris. Keep it up. I'll be a partial Nets fan since I'm a Harris fan. You guys couldn't have gotten a better trade for a 35 year old Kidd. The point guard of the future.
