Trade Nash?
Okay, if this even comes to mind with Kerr and Sarver.
Pretty much means, end of the current roster run.... obviously.
D'Antoni would go too.
It wasnt such a bad problem, defense that is, when Bell was in peak condition. This season he has regressed a notch in defense and has been seeing more bad shooting nights compared to other seasons.
The Suns simply do not have a perimeter player who will contain the other team's best player.... again obviously.
If anything, the Suns should of traded for Artest, he could atleast help cover SGs and SFs and play PF.
Nash's lack of D, would be fine if there was a wall behind him to cover him.... Nash's perimeter defense, in which allowing 20 footers... thats actually D'Antoni's fault.... Nash should not be double teaming, he isnt very athletic nor long to cover both shooters and the double team target.
If Nash was allowed to just contest 20 footers, I really doubt its a bad tactic. If the opponent is going to shoot 70% from the 20 feet range, then who can stop that?... thats pretty rare... most coaches always say... make them shoot long jumpshot... they make it... they make it.

You guys realize that trading Nash=no playoffs, right? No postseason at all?
Some of you are overreacting to the increase in his TOs over the past couple of games, jesus christ. He's still the best shooter in the league, and one of the top 2 PGs in the league, and now you're talking about moving him so we can start our "rebuild"? That's absolutely laughable.

Mr. Sun ...why don't you stop whining like a little girl about NASH...you've done that in almost every of the recently game's threads.
I can understand you're piss off because of the team's performance or whatever...but to get your anger out of you i don't know...drink some beer, get laid...do everything you want but PLEASE , Mr. Sun, please don't make one of the stupidest threads i've ever seen on this great forum.
Let's drink some beer, dude!! everything is gonna be fine...I hope

I am more worried of Raja's lack of efensive effectiveness than Nash lack of defense. NAsh runs the offense while raja was dsigned for his "defense" which is non existant this season. Raja, LB, or Diaw are replacable because they are role players. NAsh and Amare are the cornerstones so its stupid if they traded.

gut check time suckas!

I agree, who in the right mind would trade Nash?? Well the Suns did trade him before. All kidding aside, I beleive that the Suns are going to ride this wave with hopefully a title or not. The Free agents in 10-11 when we are going to have huge cap space are going to play a huge role in our rebuilding.
PLEASE DON'T TRADE NASH!! He is the second best point guard in the NBA next to Chris Paul.
