yeah, half the MLE sounds about right. plus, he'll probably be looking for garunteed minutes. i wouldn't be surprised to see him go to Portland actually.

and since Otis has commited money to Nelson, i can't see him paying a decent clip for Duhon to play backup (although he's more of a starter in my opinion).

Duhon's most likely the cheapest and value for money backcourt option out there. i wonder if the Bulls would do a JJ + our 1st rounder for their 1st rounder + Duhon S&T?

Thats a pretty good guess. He's a good fit for them. I don't see Otis going after him either. He passed on him in the draft and is probably looking to resign Keyon anyway. I doubt Keyon comes back as a third string player. The only way he would come back is if he keeps his role that he has now. Carlos should walk, and then we can use the draft to shore up the position. I like the idea of using JJ to move up and get a top three point. With Battie coming back and the greater possibility of bringing Fran over, we won't need to draft a big man, maybe a second rounder to fill Auggies spot. Then we can use the mle to get a starting sg, and resign Evans. I hope thats the plan anyway.

Thats a good question mhec, I don't know. Hopefully people can still be professional and put the past behind them, but that might be asking for too much.

Yeah, I doubt that this would happen anytime soon between Cornholio and Smith.

This is on FLToday from 1/18/08:
