Philadelphia 76ers President and General Manager Ed Stefanski announced today that the team has waived guard Gordan Giricek. Per team policy, terms of the agreement are not disclosed.

In 12 games with the Sixers, Giricek averaged 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 9.2 minutes, while shooting 31.7% (13-47) from the floor. [READ]

According to the Suns board, there has been a verbal agreement between Giricek and the Suns upon him clearing waivers, or something like that.

He's a glue guy.
For a long time it gave me nightmares,witnessing an injustice like that.It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

I hope Riley makes calls to all the "big names" that get bought out and sign with contenders, just to say hello.

Imagine Cassell getting calls from Boston, then Riley calls. "Hey, you know we need a PG too!"
