that all had me confused too, i think misreporting with the jerry stackhouse thing started it
as long as the players is a Free Agent by the 1st of March, its fine, they can be signed on the 9th of March and its okay
they just must be waived and clear waivers before the 1st

Therein lies the problem...Gordon won't clear till Tuesday...thus negating his playoff eligibility from what I understand. I thought they had to be on your roster prior to March 1 to be eligible.
<---- Still confused. I just asked my contact to ask someone in the front office. Although from the looks of it, they don't know what the F they are doing either.

Under NBA rules, players who were active prior to March 1 had to be waived before that date in order to retain their postseason eligibility.

Can you imagine another team signing him just to f*ck with us?
As I understand it a player can be signed off of waivers by any team, it just means that his old team does not owe him any money and the new team takes over his contract.
So if I am correct that means the Spurs or Mavs or someone/anyone could sign him just to piss us off.

If this was the case , then we should of claim Barry and let him come and play with us.
