The Knicks :)

Seriously, I think Nets, Sixers, Hawks will battle for those last 2 spots. It doesn't really matter who the opponenet is.

Don't act like it doesn't matter. The new Nets team plays with a lot of energy and they really believe they're a good team, they might not stand a chance but they sure as hell will put up a fight. Might as well play the team that is going to take less energy to beat, no?

Not really, the Nets didn't stand a chance with Kidd, they definitely won't stand a chance without him. Who we play in first round doesn't really matter to us.

What everyone else said. Id most likely doesnt matter. There is always a small chance of an upset, but I dont think its any smaller with one of those teams as opposed to the other.

I may think I'm the king of France but that doesn't make it so.
If they believe they're a good team I think they're the only ones.

The two first round match-ups I'd rather avoid if I'm the Pistons- the Nets for the reasons mentioned above and the Bulls because they seem to have their number this season

I suppose I'd pick the Sixers because they dont have a really good 3 to give Tayshaun Prince trouble. I mean most likely Tay is going to be guarding Pierce and/or Lebron in the playoffs. Better to leave him rested.

But the Nets are a pushover team anyways and have always been in the VC era, i've never once thought of them as even a remote East contender. So i really dont care too much. :-?

Sorry, we will act like it doesn't matter. Because it doesn't. The last couple of playoff spots in the EC are going to go to teams so far below Detroit in ability that the Pistons may as well be playing a team of Girl Scouts.

Yeah, but the Atlanta Thin Mints are awfully tempting to succumb to.
