Bucks/Spurs - March 1

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Feb 29, 2008 3:59 pm

We've had some good home games against the Spurs in recent years. This could be a decent game.

Free FSN caps to fans over 18.

7:30 tip, this game is in HD.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah. Bogut tip-in game comes to mind. I'll probably be in too much of a drunken-basketball haze after drinking before during and after the MU Georgetown came to really care how this one turns out.

There was the one a couple of years ago where Duncan dunked to win the game but it was a split second late. His hand was about an inch from the rim when the red light went on.

That was good too, but a little more anti-climactic. They had to stand around and wait for the officials review.

And just before that, Redd had made an amazingly clutch drive to put us on top for good.

I think we won against Spurs at home 3 times in the row. Duncan's dunk that didn't count, Kukoc to Bogut for game winer and last year heroics of Lynn Greer (Krystko's first game)

With that said, this is L

Spurs 105
Bucks 100

Playing a tough team at home sounds like a win to me. The road is where we suck completely.

The Spurs fans were especially obnoxious last year, so be prepared for more of that. Too bad this year I can't start the "Sweep the Spurs" chant. :(

I guess I expect a crappy enough effort that we could've been justified wearing bags.

My prediction: Bucks in the game, up by 8 with 15 mins to play, then Bowen elbows Mo, he and LK get technicals, the Spurs start a run and win by 4.

Seriously, Spurs 101 Bucks 96

Spurs 111- Bucks 72

I was actually at that game. I thought the Bucks had lost, but while walking out of the arena to beat traffic, I saw that on a monitor that the play was reviewed and that the Bucks had won. That game was amazing.

Anyhow, I don't care how well we've played against them in the past, they are simply far better than we are. Should be a Spurs win easily.
