MJS:"Redd-Mo Dynamic Duo!"
The headline from today's story is great.....I'm sure Herb Kohl is celebrating this publicity......

Bucks' dynamic backcourt duo taking big steps forward
By CHARLES F. GARDNER

These guys are hot.
The Milwaukee Bucks backcourt tandem of Michael Redd and Mo Williams is carrying the team with a stunning offensive display since the all-star break.......
......Redd said there was a reason for his approach.
"I'm attacking and just trying to be aggressive every play and every game," Redd said. "Not that I wasn't before the break. But it's an emergency now, so I've got to be aggressive."
"Redd has been super-assertive and aggressive early in games," Nets coach Lawrence Frank said. "He's getting up shots."
Frank carefully watched film on Redd and Williams before his team's victory, achieved against a porous Milwaukee defense.
"It's the way they're getting it, their explosiveness," Frank said of the duo. "Plus, they're getting to the free-throw line, so they're putting teams in the penalty.
"They have the potential, if they continue to play at this high level, to be one of the better backcourts (in the league)....."

It is pretty rare that a sports story in the newspaper makes me feel nauseous, so hats off to Chuck Gardner for this beaut. 'The Bucks backcourt is so amazingly HOT!!!! ...that it nearly made up for its own excremen-terrific "porous Milwaukee defense" in a thrilling 14-point loss to the Nets. If Mo and Redd could ever play on a team where their stunning offensive brilliance wouldn't get overshadowed by their own team's stunningly poor backcourt defense, they'd be all-stars!!!!!!!!!! Hooray!"

I disagree---I think much more important than shot blcokers is to have very smart defenders in general. Gadz, Bogut, and yi are all decent to good shotblockers, but only bogut is even close to a smart defender as of yet.

MJS Bucks guys = Idiots. I hope Mike Hunt laughed at Gardner in the office today. What's so "dynamic" about ths duo other than scoring? Nothing.
If we must live with their backcourt defense, you might as well get ready for that lull called mediocrity.

Anyone else feel like Gardner and this Bucks team are like the local small town paper writing about a 7th grade basketball team?
Gardner: "Hey guys! We are going to write a feature about you!"
Redd/Mo: "Oh boy! We're really going to be in the paper? Wait til our parents find out!"
And the article is brimming with blind compliments and enthusiasm because it's about little kids. Some of these comments sound like the local writer talking about how "improved" 7th grade Jimmy is because he could barely make a layup at the beginning of the season and now he's hitting shots from the free throw line even though their team sucks in reality and is 5-10 on the season.

It's funny that you picked 7th grade because this sounds exactly like my 7th grade basketball team. Except, you know, we never got anything written about us in the paper.

Yeah, my 7th grade team is similar to the Bucks as well...except we had more basketball IQ. Oh, and we won games.

Not thinking makes someone play better, just seems odd.
Low b-ball IQ + No thinking = Better basketball.
It's something else, isn't it? Only on this team could the starting backcourt basically be called dumb by the head coach and he's trying to spin it in a positive manner.
I love this team.
Nothing will not break me.
