I think Portland will go on a killing spree, now. Catalyst game for them.

Once healthy all that "advantage" is gone.

Are you talking about the Blazers? Jones and Roy were questionable before the game and we all know about Oden.

Stop making excuses. You don't here the Lakers players making excuses because you've got to play with what you've got and try to win every game no matter who's healthy.

Anyways, y'all have a great team and no matter how I feel about the Lakers they're a compelling story and everyone is watching them. It'll be a fun rivalry for the next few years.

^haha, why show a summer league highlight? Didn't he average like 10 fouls against d-league centers there?

No doubt Oden will be a player in the future, but let's be realistic the kid is still super raw on both ends of the floor. He'll probably be a light double-double guy next year just based on his athleticism alone though.

A few things from a blazer fan:

You had to listen to our announcers for a game; we have to hear them all season!

There isn't a question right now which team has more talent (lakers), it's just when the blazers are determined there are 7 guys on fire which is hard to defend.

Gasol is a great player. I love his soft touch. With bynum, his weaknesses on defense don't show up as much. I think it's similar for the blazers and aldridge/oden.

Why isn't farmar playing more? The kid can ball. He killed as in LA.

I've read through 51 pages of this post, and while there are obviously some really ignorant fans, my opinion of laker fans improved after reading what seemed to be objectivity and respect for the game.

Can't wait for a healthy laker vs blazer rivalry!

Like I said on the General board, what is up with Phil and his refusal to go big?

5-27. You cannot be more clear than that. Our outside shooters wasn't getting it done so why not go big and attack them inside?

The pick and roll defense was bad but you have to help your big in those situations. Odom and Luke are not stopping anyone when you are relying on them to protect the basket.

Phil should have went big with Farmar, Kobe, Lamar, Ronny, and Pau. Have Kobe guard Outlaw and put Lamar on Roy (Use his length and deny penetration. Roy shot 6-15.). You allow Pau to focus more on Aldridge defensively instead of helping stop penetration because you would have Kobe and Ronny on the baskside to help protect the paint.

too many bad calls that took the momentum away from us( I still think were 98979879879879878 times better than them)

our D rotation still needs to improve

boxout,boxout,boxout!!!!! gotta do the fundamentals

fish trying to do too much again, plus our team looked so slow when he was playing
