Now these trades I will have to look at . . . (Ray Allen for Raja Bell with only marginal throwins?)

i'm not sure if you can say derek fisher is a marginal throw in. he's a great backup PG and a huge upgrade over terry (who i can now move to sg)

Well, I would just like to chime in with my opinion here. I like this one for me because it gives me that 3rd scoring option that I can go to, a clutch one at that. But Ray Allen isn't exactly a superstar anymore, and I don't think he commands superstar value in a fantasy trade. Me and Random spoke on this one for a while and we both came to an agreement and the belief that this one benefits both sides. Random's thought on this is that he gets to bring in more defense with Raja Bell at the 2, he likes what Bell brings for him beside Kidd. Fisher will become is back-up point now, he absolutely loves the idea of a Kidd/Fisher duo, Derek will bring the clutch shooting off the bench, the leadership and experience. This also gives him a chance to slide Jason Terry over to his more natural position of SG, which will give a nice 1/2 punch along with Raja Bell.

This is not a trade that was done without any thought, and I don't believe this is a trade that should be overruled because while everyone can agree I win on the talent side, I think it's trade that will help both teams here in different areas.

Also, I don't plan on keeping Josh Childress on my roster. This trade was basically, Allen and filler for Bell + Fisher. Josh holds no value to me as my roster is currently constructed and I plan to make a few more moves before the deadline.

do you also feel bad, coz there are no picks to make anymore? :D

was thinking of just waiving and signing some players in order to have some fun (stay tuned...maybe I will waive KG only for some minutes and if you miss it, its your fault ;))

j/k

The Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors have agreed upon a trade that will send Kevin Durant back to Indiana and Cuttino Mobley to Toronto.

Pacers G.M will come in and confirm this shortly.

This trade was something that hinges on the approval of the Ray Allen trade. I like Durant's scoring off the bench, but with the potential addition of Ray Allen at SG, I don't need his scoring as much at the 2 as I would have needed if I had Raja Bell still there.

Still have more moves to make.

Hoping for some trade approvals soon.

if that trade is vetoed and the marion/carter/tmac one isn't. it shows how much of a joke the judges are..

No, Marion was never traded IIRC. It was Carter/Kenyon Martin for Tracy McGrady + filler.

I think it all comes down, if the judges believe in bell as a great defender (IMO he is really overrated in that regard)

...just to remind judges: dont be to hard on GM's...if GM's can make a case why the want to do it, you only should veto trades that really skrew up teams...

...btw.: why cant allen be considered a superstar?...ok, it depends on what you think a superstar is, but making the allstarteam and beeing the second best player on the winning squad isnt too bad
