In all seriousness Wade is healthy enough to play but he's just not motivated and has definitely lost a step or two... I don't blame Wade for sitting out since he's not able to lead his team to victory night in and night out though, in a best case scenario this all works out for the Heat the same way it worked out for the Spurs when they went 20-62 with an injured David Robinson and ended up getting Tim Duncan in the draft lottery.

if the heat don't get the first or 2nd pick, they are in serious trouble. If they get stuck with taking anyone but Rose or Beasley, they are in trouble. If wade gets shut down, they better be punished for tanking like the celtics were when Paul Pierce was "injured."

In all seriousness, if you think Wade's healthy as it stands right now, you just don't know what's going on, especially with Wade.

This is NOT the Wade we've all come to know. -- He's still hurt, and he's acknowledged it, as has his coach. -- It would be stupid to 'shut him down' if he had not been still hurt/healing from his off-season injuries.

The best thing Wade can do right now is shut it down, rest up, give up the olympics, and do what's best for him and HIS team. -- And, god willingly, he'll be back again next season.

Does anyone think Wade shutting it down for the rest of the season which would result in a 15 win season most likely would then send Marion packing? He is already questioning his team and you can tell that he regrets wanting to be traded and wishes he was winning and enjoying the great show that the West is putting on night in and night out instead of being on a team that is expected to lose everynight no matter who they play. As much as I think Wade is overrated and not a superstar I do like his heart by pretty much saying he didnt want to quit on his team, thats pretty cool of him i think.

There was an article from the Sun-Sentinel (South Florida News Paper) ~2 Weeks ago where Wade mentioned the understanding of what's happening in Miami; rebuilding mode. And, that he wants to be a part of it, as long as the light of the tunnel is a bright one. Also, in that article, IISC, Marion weighed in his opinion saying the same sort of things, and also said s/a/l/o "we're in this together". -- [I'll try and dig up the article, if I can; the sun-sentinel website, doesn't have a good search feature :-? ]
