Lyrics (partial)
(Kareem Abdul-Jabbar:)
I'm Karreem, I'm the captain of the team,
I don't need drugs, I got a higher theme,
My sky hooks make the team look good,
But there's a hook we gotta shake from the neighborhood.

(Wes Matthews:)
My name is Wes, on the court I'm rough,
And out there on the street, we all gotta stay tough,
Say no to drugs, and call the "drug-man's" bluff.

(Mike Smrek:)
They call me Smrek, I give my team my best,
When you give your all, you can do no less
but the game of life is more serious,
drugs make fools of all of us.

(Michael Cooper:)
My name is Michael, but they call me "Coop,"
My main hangout is up around the hoop,
We play hard, but we still play smart,
We never let drugs tear us apart.

(AC Green:)
I'm AC Green, with the word,
Can't win the game with your vision blurred,
Train your child, the way to go,
And when the drug-man comes, he'll say "no."

(Byron Scott:)
I'm Byron Scott, with the jump shot,
I like the i-dea of being on top,
And the tops in reach of every man,
If drugs aren't in your master plan.

(Kurt Rambis:)
I'm Kurt Rambis, they call me "Superman,"
And I'm known to give a help-ing hand,
Now there's a rival on the street,
And we all gotta "work" to get it beat.

(Billy and Mychal Thompson:)
We're the Thompsons, with no relation,
And we stand together for a drug free nation,
Now here's Worthy with the sweet slam dunk...

(James Worthy:)
I can make a basket without that junk!
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

I wonder how effective that video was in keeping kids from doing drugs.

Considering the Lakers themselves HAD to have been on acid when they made that song....I feel it was an excellent deterrent. :D
