Despite the Turkoglu experiment, Van Gundy said he is happy with his Arroyo, Battie and Nelson, who all have jockeyed for the starting point guard job this season.

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

12-5.

However, I believe it has more to do with our big 3 than who our PG is. Arroyo and Nelson are about the same. It's kind of like asking what Boston's record is when Rondo starts...

Fun game. Dwight was simply awesome tonight. That first block was shown a few times on the screen after it happened, and everyone missed the next play as we kept gasping over the height of that block. And he was going after offensive rebounds and getting them.

Poor Jameer. Flu, a sore hamstring, AND a toothache. Apparently the toothache was new but the other two ailments were already bothering him the last game. Just imagine what would have happened if we had traded Carlos and not got a pg back. Hedo would have had to play point all game, LOL. It was cool that Carlos started on Latin Night.

It was great to see Marcin dressed. I was hoping he'd get a chance to play. When the "We want JJ!" chants started, the guys sitting next to JJ started poking him. I was happy to see that SVG had enough confidence in his team to clear the bench at the end.

Lots of Knicks fans at the game. Those around me were great sports. How can one dislike someone who has the loyalty to be a Knicks fan? You certainly can't question their fanhood. Magic fans with any memory know their pain, even though we never had Isiah.

MARCIN 'THE WARLOCK/POLISH HAMMER' GORTAT FOR THE MOTHERF**KING WIN!!!! :) :D
I was going ape sh*t in the 4th hoping he would come in. I felt pretty damn good when Stan put JJ in with over 4 left.

LMFAO AT THE ANNOUNCER:
"Marcin Grant"
PG set the tempo with the fake 3 that led to the open J.
The bench and upper bowl went crazy along with me when Gortat took Fat Ass Big Mac Curry to the rack with that nifty reverse lay-up (no idea how he stayed in bounce).
I love how Stan is laughing with the boys when JJ gets his jumper.

THE GREATEST WHITE MAN LINEUP EVER:
PG: Turkey Dance
SG: JJ
SF: Pat Bastard
PF: Auggie
C: The Warlock

Turned out to be one hell of a night with the Big 3 carrying us since our bench was limited.
Arroyo did a good job tonight and we'll need him Tuesday.

Won't see Dwight with this look during a dunk often:

That looks like a high percentage shot:

Why?

Because it doesn't fit well with everyone's 'Rashard has the worst contract ever' line?

So now that I have had a full night's rest after going to the game let see.....

I was very happy with the win and the performance by the Magic. My seats were freakin awesome and if I ever get a chance to get tickets form Thief's guy again I will. Also, good atmosphere at the arena.

I understood it was latin night but I hated the introductions being done in Spanish....it just wasn't Paul Porter.

I was confusing the hell out of my friend that went with me and some of the other people around me when I continued to curse Carlos or 'Los' since he apparently has a nickname now. He had some stupid Carlos moves and shots...and the running, leaning bank shot in coverage was lucky as hell and I could not believe he made it.

The Knicks look completely out of whack and just like a collection of guys, not a team. I wouldn't even know what Isaiah could have tried to coach them on.

One complaint I have...on Brian Cook. Did anyone else notice when Cook got pissed at Turk and began yelling at him for not passing him the ball for a wide open three so that Turk could instead do the smart thing and run the clock out before shooting? It was either end of the first or end of the second. I don't know if Cookie knows it, but Turk did the right thing since at that time the game was still fairly close and the Magic didn't need to potentially give up another basket to them. Cook kept yelling at him on other possessions and in the huddle....guy needs to grow up and let that stuff go.

Finally, the last 5 minutes of the game with JJ and then possibly the GREATEST LINE-UP in nba history....I was extremely disappointed the Magic didn't put JJ in until the very end. The team was missing Nelson AND Dooling and Stan still couldn't find time for him. JJ looked fine in there against the Knicks and played well and aggressively. I did not understand why Stan was laughing with the guys when he scored on that nice Duke-like move when he came off the screen. Marcin was also semi-impressive for someone who hasn't played since China. I posted my thoughts on him in the appreciation thread.

Wow, this might be a little too long for people to actually read.

I do wonder what is wrong with Crawford. He's been wearing that thing for almost a year now.
