I totally missed the game tonight but from what I saw of the ESPN highlights... it looked like a fun game to watch as a Sixer fan.

By the way, I wonder what will happen with the Suns if they continue to struggle between now and the first round of the playoffs. I mean, they can't move Shaq can they? Will Amare become available again? Wishful thinking, I know but hey.... a man can dream.

The Kool-Aid is going down a lot easier tonight than it was after last night's game.

Nowhere did I say the Suns gave the game to the Sixers. The only thing I said was the Suns suck. And because they suck, to me, this win doesn't mean very much in trying to gauge how good the Sixers really are. Fool's gold.

The Suns are 2-4 since the Shaq trade. They have no identity and are not a good team right now.

That's if they even make the playoffs. Towards the end of the game, that's just about all the Suns' announcers were talking about. They have a BRUTAL schedule to finish the season. They're fearing for their lives right now.

The West is so insane right now. The Suns are now in the 6th seed in the West but are only 2 games away from having the best record in the conference.

At the same time, the Suns are also only 2.5 games from being OUT of the playoffs. How insane will it be if this trade causes the Suns to go from best record in the West to out of the playoffs??

Man that was an awesome game, I watched the end of the third through the fourth and it was great.

But I'm with you Eye, Iggy had a great game but it just frustrates me how he can have 32 points with 5 minutes left and not take another shot, he could have easily had 40+ tonight.

I know I'm nitpicking, but still.

The last 3 or so minutes, the Sixers were trying to milk as much time off the clock as they could. And in the same time frame the Suns did a very good job of forcing the ball out of Andre's hands.

Yeah, thats what I thought...still it would have been nice, if this game had gone into overtime, and Iggy would have to turn it on. 32 points...just enough to shut up send em for a game...42?? Maybe a week?

Eitherway, great game by Iggy, really came back after that incredibly sub-par game against the Warriors.

Wildfire, I see we think on the same wave-length. Its just incredibly frustrating. I honestly thought that he was going to go cold after the 1st quarter. He was like 6-8 in the 1st, then missed about 5 straight shots. Funny how sendem thinks he has absolutely no upside...He's 24...gimme a break. How many 24 year olds are averaging nearly 20 ppg, on 45 percent shooting...

Iggy played well but the Suns are 2-4 since the Shaq trade and they give up 112 points per night. They had a losing record the entire season against western conference opponents and at last check (a little while ago) had a 21-2 record against eastern conference teams. The Suns stink. Steve Kerr is a terrible GM so take this win with not just a grain of salt but the entire salt dispenser.

Kurt Thomas + 2 first rounders and Marion for Shaq will go down in history as the worst deals ever ESPECIALLY if the Spurs win the CHIP with Kurt Thomas.

Steve Kerr worst GM of all time?
He traded away Kurt Thomas and 2 first round draft picks for something that I can't remember right now. He traded away Shawn Merion for Shaq and has gone 2 and 4 since...LMAOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Why would Steve Kerr get a GM job before someone like Reggie Miller? Why would a role player that just retired a few seasons ago get a GM job over the many HOF players and future HOF players that are available? LMAOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo Phoenix is FINISHED!

Isiah is a HOF player that holds/held the title of GM. Look at the state of the Knicks.

11-1 in game 2's is pretty impressive...whatever Mo is doing with this team is working. I was shocked they came back with this effort last night. Reggie's energy was great...you have to live with the silly mistakes he (fouling the 3pt shooter) and Sam (getting a 3 second call when they were moving the ball on the perimeter to run the clock down) make b/c they do still generally have a positive impact on the game. Thad was huge, Miller and Green played great as well.

Iguodala was impressive, scoring in that fashion with Grant Hill and Raja Bell defending him. Hill is not the Hill of a decade ago, but he and Bell are still quality defenders. Iguodala is not perfect, but I think we all wanted to see him improve his game this season, which he has. Forget about the 32 points, his ability to get his jumper off with someone in his face is the quality that will be huge moving forward. His height and high release point is something that's huge late in the game when you aren't going to get calls and need to get the shot up...now he needs to get his FT shooting back to where it was last season...that is disappointing. He's not consistent with his FT stroke and staying through his shot.

As for the Suns, the Shaq experiment will be good or bad based on the end result. They've played Detroit, Boston, and NO since the trade, so I don't think anyone can expect them to be undefeated since getting Shaq. Last night was a bad loss for them, but I think you need to give this more time...it's a questionable move right now, but we'll have to see.

Could it be that he was being defended very well and decided against jacking up a foolish shot in a selfish attempt to score 40 ? I say ... give him credit for being smart and a team player.

Do you honestly believe that how good of an NBA player you were determines how good of an NBA GM you'll be? You're more clueless than most of the posters on here realize. The more and more you read sendems post, the more you realize he is a basketball junkie who thinks he knows everything but actually is just full of himself. Anyone else see the commercial with the guy playing basketball and he wants people to call him dr hoops or something like that always calling plays and callin calls you dont call in streetball? It is interesting to see how players develop after they enter the league. I remember reading all of the pre-draft reports on Iguodala before the Sixers drafted him. People loved his all around game, his handle, his passing, rebounds, steals and character. Unfortunately his lack of shooting and scoring mentality would keep him from ever being a primary threat on offense.

Two years into his career things were following the script; people praised the same skills, but bemoaned his lack of aggression and complete unwillingness to take shots. His fatal flaw was his passiveness on offense.

It is shocking to se that his main offensive skill is the contested 20 ft pull up jumper. It really came out of nowhere for the guy- which points to hours of hard work in the gym. Sure, he's not the first guy to develop a jumper after he entered the league (MJ comes to mind) but to see it go from his Achilles heel to his primary weapon so early in his career is pretty amazing.

There is nothing wrong about coming to strong opinions about players- just remember that for some guys the earlier criticisms just might end up being only temporary deficiencies that can be overcome. I try to remember this when I get frustrated with Carney and Green.
