I was at the game tonight and was sickened by Lary K's rotations. At one point we had Bogut, Charlie V., and Yi on the bench with Gadz on the floor.
Charlie V. sat the whole 4th quarter and I believe Mason did too. Desmond had a good game, did alot of good things that don't show up in the box score. Charlie V. could have caused a mismatch.
It's like Larry thinks he has to go with a small lineup because the other team is. Make them adjust to us.
Everything can be fixed with the right coach, the talent is there.
A Monkey could coach better than Larry K.

I said this a thousand times...I concur.
I like Krystowiak but if you were gonna draft Yi and bring in Mason and all that you should have brought a more experience guy in to develop these players.
When you paid Mo you need a coach to get on him and make him to be the best he can be his feelings be damned! Same with Redd.
You cannot waste Bogut and Villanueva. You didnt need Yi! YOU WANTED YI...there is a difference.
You cannot do two things at once, rebuild and win Now at he same time. You needed to move that pick and trade it for some guys who can win now.

This is probably true, but even the guys on the floor had their chances through the whole second half. It's not LK's fault it was an adventure just getting the ball across the time line. He should probably take some blame for constantly calling the refs morons though, who knows whether that had anything to do with Mo getting double T'd in less than 2 seconds. Although Mo got kicked out in the March game against the Spurs last year, and Greer saved us. This year Ivey took one shot too many, I can't stand seeing that guy on the court.

um.. go check all the draft pick that is behind yi
any one of them would make this team a win now?
obviously this team is too avg to win now
yes, we have tons of talent
but the thing is, we have no top tier talent
yes, they are very good
but that mean, they are very bad at clutch,
because nobody can finish it

Did it ever occur to you guys that we're just not a very good team regardless of who our coach is? While I think Stotts did a much better job with this team then Larry k, Stotts took way much more crap then Larry K has received this year.

I don't see what was wrong with havign CV and Yi on the bench. They were playing horribly. They were getting abused by the Spurs wing players. They deserved to sit. Playing Mason and Simmons together was a good move on LK's part, in my opinion.
As for having Gadzuric in the game - what was his option? He had to give Bogut some rest. It was Gadz or Voskuhl. Gadz did Ok. Even made a pair from the line.
I think that Krystkowiak's rotations have improved. This has been made easier by having a full roster available. He has been getting better play from Mason and Simmons. CV is usually contributing. The only disappointments have been Yi and Bell. I don't see either of those players being hurt by the rotation.
I think that the biggest rotation challenge that LK has is that he only has one point guard. When Mo is off the court, there is no one to organize the team. They need a veteran PG. Like a Steve Blake. Or Lindsey Hunter. Someone who can defend and keep the team in the game. The Bucks will probably draft a point guard.
Give LK a break. he is a rookie head coach. He had virtually no head coach experience at any level before this season. it is one thing to be demanding of players and coaches. It is another to be unreasonable and expect players and coaches to do things that they are not equipped to do. LK will be a better coach down the road. Probably for another team.
Terry Stotts had much more NBA coaching experience than LK. Stotts had experience as a top assistant and as a head coach. Krystkowiak might inspire more confidence with his demeanor, but Stotts had a better understanding of the game.
The lack of solid point guards and solid coaches is a management problem. Larry Harris has to correct those issues.

"A Monkey could coach better than Larry K."
The trouble with monkeys (well, at least, the trouble with chimps) is that their working life is so short compared to their life span. So for every chimp earning his keep coaching in the NBA, you have to support 10 of them in the Old Chimp's Home.
This isn't unklchuk's imagination. This is literally true; I heard it yesterday on NPR. Chimps can only work for 3 to 5 or so years (during their adolescence). After that they get way too independent-minded and way too strong for humans to control. But they live for 30 or 40 years after that.
With most animals, the no-longer-useful animal would be put down. Killed. But because chimps are considered comparatively close to human beings in evolution, euthanasia is widely rejected as an option. (This is gospel truth, according to public radio - unless the Onion hijacked the station I was listening to.)
So there literally are homes for chimps too adult to work. More and more of them, because chimps are popular in show biz, medical research, etc. With all these chimps living out their lives.
So... (finally comes the ridiculous part). I'm sure a chimp would coach as well as Coach K, and be an even bigger bargain for The Senator, but it just isn't a long-term solution.
