Yeah he is. I dumped Yao for him on my fantasy team and the first night he puts up 30+ with 11 boards. BEAST!

And he still has room to improve.

He kind of reminds me of a more well-rounded Paul Pierce.

..and KFE on Gil coming to the Clips..now that's something to look for...also add Livingston to the mix...

When the Bulls had the 9th pick last year I knew they were gonna take Noah, but apart of me said Thorton would be a better player. Although if the Bulls did take him he would have a hard time even seeing the floor since the last thing we needed was another tweener.

i watched him in the preseason and thought he'd be rookie of the year and bought him for my fantasy. But the coaches just started giving him more minutes midseason and he's been doing so well.

So he's going to slide to the 3 pot once Brand comes back?

Thorton had a lot of buzz coming out of the Summer Leagues and he has proven what a ton of people thought to be true when he got drafted so low. The Clippers got the steal of the draft. Thorton will never be as good as Marion or Bosh but he reminds me of a better version Keith Van Horn in his prime. Not as tall but stronger and much more athletic. He will never be a star in the NBA but will always be a factor.

He's that dude. Reminds me of Chris Bosh.

Thornton's 25 this year. Might want to factor that in when you're projectng him.
