Key Matchup:
Imagev.Image
Mutombo replaced the injured Yao Ming very well so far. He had 13 rebounds and 4 blocked shots in only 17 minutes of action in their last game. This guy knows how to box out and play defense. Let's see if Camby can do the same thing on the Nuggets defensive end of the court.

Last Meeting: Dec 20, 2007, W 112-111
A.I. (36) and Melo (37) combined for 73 points while Camby added 18 boards and 6 blocks. Anthony Carter made a floater with 0.8 seconds left in double overtime to win.

Denver: 35-23
Nene - underwent chemo on Tuesday. should return for playoffs
Chucky Atkins - Atkins said he has been running and anticipates playing by mid-March.

Keys to winning:
Energy, hustle and the desire to win.

Last 5 Games:
W LA Clippers
W Seattle
L Detroit
L Milwaukee
L Chicago

Houston: 38-20
Yao Ming - Broken left foot - out for season
Steve Francis - Left quadriceps surgery - out for season

Last 5 Games:
W Memphis
W Washington
W Chicago
W New Orleans
W Miami

co-signed.

Rebounding is the key for me as well. Mutombo's especialy.

I'd use Hunter for some time to kind of "sacrifice" him. Everyone knows Dikembe and his famous elbows. Najera is too small to fight for rebounds with him, Camby will say NO WAY (and thanks to that. He would end up injured. *Knocking*) and Martin is too hot-headed.
But I know there is no chance Karl would do that. :)

Doubt it, Karl is gonna stick with his 2 6 footers to guard him...

Time to get on a winning streak, and if we can win 4 out of 5 games with the elite teams and have a 6 game winning streak, sure as hell will help, who knows maybe we'll be at 4th place by the end of it.

Someone needs to make a video montage of Hayes, Reggie Evans, Shaq and Biedrins shooting free-throws. It would be glorious.

I hope we play 4 quarters of good team basketball. If we do that, we walk out with a W.

how often do we find ourselves in that situation of having a double digit deficit in half time? :noway: why do we ALWAYS have to fight that hard for a win
