Sure he looked good the past few years while we were just throwing teams together and assuming we would win on reputation alone, but I think he will look painfully average in this years Olympics as the USA smashes everything Argentina and the reast of the Globe stand for. His international "legacy " will be forever tarnished when LeBron, Kobe, Dwight, Amare, Kidd, Paul, Deron and company take him and his nations manhood in the middle of the court this Summer.
HOF my ass!
so the US wasnt motivated playing the WC at home in 02? wasnt motivated to beat the team that punked them at home in athens 04? what nba team do you root for? i imagine they have a motivation problem too, right? why isnt lebronze, duncan, ai, amare, boozer, pierce, brand, reggie miller, and wade's legacy tarnished for getting beat by a team led by a substitue averaging 14/4/4 + a couple nba role players and some dudes playing in the argentinean league??? you cant have it both ways.
i can't wait to see what your excuse will be if the US loses this year.

if manu wins another olympics, or 1-2 more titles with the spurs, he is a lock to get in.
