LK: Does losing/poor effort even bother him?

Post#1 » by LUKE23 » Mon Mar 3, 2008 3:17 am

I said in the game thread that to me it appears that losing doesn't bother LK in the least. It doesn't cause him to make adjustments and it sure as HELL doesn't wipe that "I'm pretending to know something you don't but really I'm clueless as sin" smirk off his face.

On top of it, he doesn't change his rotations, his defense, doesn't bench players for playing with poor effort. On top of that we have reports that assistant coaches are laughing on the bench when the team is down 20 points in the fourth quarter.

This roster is built poorly for sure, but LK sure doesn't help matters by being way over his goddam head AND completely unaffected when his team is getting pummeled.

Does anyone care about this organization besides the fans? Wow.

I'd love to see him come out the next game with a starting lineup of:

PG: Sessions
SG: Bell
SF: Simmons
PF: Ruffin
C: Bogut

Get some stones and send a message. What's the worst that could happen? The Bucks could lose?

Gee, there's something that hasn't happened very often this season.
Nothing will not break me.

Probably, but it's hard to make guys like Bobby, Gadz, and Bell listen when they are literally stealing from the company, and there isn't much LK can do about it.

I think those 3 are huge cancers and problems to this team. They seem to tune LK, and the entire organization out, and are happy just to cash paychecks.

I am sure guys like Redd, Mo, Bogut, Dez, and Royal (career year) respect coach and play hard, but the other role players are doing nothing for this team.

I agree, Epi and I had a great view of the bucks bench all night and LK showed no emotion at all.

To me nonverbal communication says a lot. I just never see anything from LK that would indicate that he is bothered by losing or just how poor of effort his team gives. Does the guy have any pride?

Maybe he's just in it for the paycheck. It sure would fit the rest of the f'ing roster.

He never does. In postgame it's the same thing everytime. That little sly smile that says "we're losing but I'm still making a lot more than you".

I'd trade him for Stotts without thinking twice right now.

Would you throw in CV andGAdz? We might be able to make that trade work, after all he is still being paid by the Bucks..:):)

I think you give Redd and Mo too much credit. If they were that good I think we be closer to .500.

I'd be willing to trade the whole team and rebuild using picks 1-12 in the NBDL draft at this point.

It would take a real good coach to get this team to .500 and the playoffs!! If it could be done, I would think champagne would be in order, don't you???

I really thought he was going to be more a fiery take no prisoners type of coach. He's just as passive as the past two we've had. I'm actually more willing to bring a veteran retread coach than another rookie. Maybe Hubie Brown wants one more go of it (I know that's not going to happen).

I believe Sessions is back practicing, why hasn't he suited up? Sparky had on a guy from Sportsboyz.net who attended a practice before the season started and he told Sparky not one gaurd can make a post pass....Woelfel then said Ramon is the only guy who can and the only guys who has the ability to put the ball where it needs to be. Seeing Sessions play is all I really want at this point.

I think it bothers him, but he doesn't show it on the outside. He holds everything in, which means that one of these days he's going to go Hulk on everyone.

Soon he is going to blow and say something like if they don't play defense they won't play for me.

Oh God yes. I love the Bucks, but this is getting really old. Sorry you had to pay to watch that. I hope you weren't wearing Bucks jerseys.

I think he really has no control over the situation.

I am wondering what he's going to say next, though. In the past few days he's called Villanueva and Yi soft and basically called Mo and Redd dumb. What's next? Bogut's a foreigner?

 He did really say that about Redd and Mo? Sounds like a guy who knows he is out of a job.
