RFA Subject ot Gilbert Arenas playing Overseas

Post#1 » by GTO » Sat Mar 1, 2008 7:42 pm

If a RFA subject to the Gilbert Arenas provision (say, Carl Landry) goes to play overseas for a year before coming back to the NBA, is he still restricted and is he still subject to the Gilbert Arenas provision?

Correct.
My Bucks Ersan Ilyasova has also gone the Alex Acker route and is expected to return to the NBA this offseason as an RFA for the with Arenas provision protection.
