why should he try to imitate kobe, he is clearly better

Are you serious ?

RJ is barely 1/2 of Kobe in terms of talent and ability.

this game could of been interesting if we shot 40% :o

I don't know man. There's seriously something wrong with our team.
We just can't maintain the momentum when it matters.

The crowd was so into it too.. and we had to turn it over.. and let it run back up to 10.

I really want to think it's all mental. Nets need a motivational speaker or something. Bring back some team morale.

Sigh this was a very winable game, really a frustrating loss, Frank preaches D but pays zero attention to offense and it showed tonight aside from Carter and to a lesser extent Harris not a single player wearing a white jersery was able to make a J if his life depended on it.
Sean was clearly underutilized tonight and just like that we're back to Frank putting Sean on the bench regardless of what he does.
It seems that whenever the team got to behind by 6 they got cocky and decided to stop......

Damn it Noki could have changed this 4th q meltdown.

I wonder if Thorn fined them $500 bucks per missed shot they'll shoot better.

Or have some sort of internal bet or something.

Miss a Free throw.... $1000 goes into the pot. I bet Boone will be shooting 85%+ if he had to pay 1g per missed free throw.

If Nets were gonna win one of the two vs Spurs I thought tonight was the one. Spurs off a back-to-back, and Nets at home...

Devin Harris hasn't been able to use his speed in halfcourt offense to create shots for his teammates too much but I think this will improve when he learns the offense / teammates more. I haven't seen Harris's vaunted defense too much either but then again it's Parker.

Tony Parker & Ginobli were hitting perimeter shots everytime the Nets seemed to sniff a comeback and Udoka hit a bunch of sideline 3pt's that hurt despite Duncan being quite on the offensive end tonight.

Boone missed a couple of gimmes and Krstic's three missed wide open shots in a row was sooooo brutal. RJ was horrific too, settling for jumpshots at moments when the Nets were creeping back or needed to stay under 10.

I also thought when the Nets were settling (I know it's really up to the players) that L.Frank should have called some plays originating from the low block to dissuade the team from settling for the J which they did too often tonight (hope they show them this when reviewing film for the next game). I also thought Frank left an inept offense on the floor a bit too long two times in the game & should have inserted VC earlier both times to get the offense going.

at least Atlanta is losing to Boston. Chicago lost to Cleveland. However Indiana beat the Bucks.

How do you stop Manu? Manu lets going to the rack. Have Swift and Swat waiting for him, then smack it out of there. Too bad, Frank doesn't know how to use bigmen.

One thing that bothers me about Boone.
Some of his Layups can definitely be dunks, but he tries to lay it in like a vag.
Why doesn't he try to dunk it. That little flick shot he took and missed in the 4th quarter I think could've helped the momentum if he dunked it.

You stop manu by fouling him hard if he tries to take it to the rim.
I bet if he got hard fouled he'd think twice about coming in to the paint for a layup or whatever flopping bs he does.

I don't know if this game was winnable for us. Everytime we came near, the Spurs stepped on the gas and brought the lead back to double digits. They were in control the whole time, and always had reserves when it mattered.

I'm shocked we even lost by 10 with the way this team played overall

Josh Boone played about as soft as fresh load of baby poop tonight!!!!!!!

Frank is easily the worst coach in the entire LEAGUE.

Vince, i salute you, you showed up after taking the first two quaters off.

*sigh*. Work in progress fellas. maybe we can come out harder on their home floor. :nonono:

Jefferson shot selection is more (Please Use More Appropriate Word) than his "RJ" tattoo, can't belive how many times he killed the flow with his horrid decisions. Franks lineups were as clueless as Marcus is defensively. I wasn't really expecting a win but at least some better effort, at some points Vince looked like the only "real" NBA basketball player on this team.

yea he tends to take those (Please Use More Appropriate Word) out of rhythm bullet jump shots and kill whatever Nets are trying to accomplish.

RJ's jump shots are QUITE questionable, I agree. I only approve of RJ's black hole play when he is attacking the basket.

Not a bad game, Diop played for more than I would have liked given that was pressing so hard on offense (more Sean please!), and the Spurs got some help from the refs but overall it was a good game all around...

Too bad Boki was out and Hassell had to be the one taking those wide-open shots.

What exactly does Coach Frank do besides make the players run laps in practice?

As for Krstic. awful. poor guy. dunno what to do with him...

Boone: softer than baby poop. If Tony Parker can physically dominate you, you are soft. no argument can be made.

I cannot stand manu ginobli...

RJ. terrible. marcus. terrible. etc.

Vince and devin were the only people who played on par today. But even both of them coulda been more persistent about getting to the hoop. At least we got a few highlights outta vince.

Boone should've just fouled Parker hard during that pussy spin move he did and make him earn it on the Free throw line. He was shooting horrible FT's.

yeh we were there on and off throughout the game...it was frustrating...we shot poorly, while having poor shot selection...that combined with Spurs are that good...

we need to find a our groove and play like a team...a lot decent individual play, but not enough team play as far as the offensive end...

8 assists...13 turnovers...
